You are missing out on avocados. My mother used to make us pan y palta as little kids. Essentially, avocado on toast. This was in the 80s...in Kentucky. So friends would give me strange looks. Now in the early 2010s in the DMV there was an explosion of avocado on toast in restaurant/brunch areas. They would overcharge for it too. If there is an explosion of empanadas or mote con huesillo ...well then my life's work is complete. Hey @argentine soccer fan do you call is aguacate or palta?
This woman managed to be worse than Sarah Huckabee Saunders. That is a major feat. White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham claimed that departing former aides to President Obama left notes saying “you will fail” and “you aren’t going to make it” for the incoming staff of Donald Trump, NBC News reports. Former Obama aides quickly denied Grisham’s claim.
Per that tweet, it feels as if we have had this conversation before...hmmm https://www.bigsoccer.com/threads/tr...action-jackson.2051864/page-226#post-35604599 https://www.bigsoccer.com/threads/the-trump-presidency.2042227/page-212#post-35357741 (last paragraph)
Definitely a lie, Trump would have tweeted something about that on day 1, though, he was too busy trying to defend is inauguration numbers
I bought goat butter this weekend. It's pretty good. It was also priced at $3.50 for 8 ounces, which is 6 bucks cheaper than it's usually sold for. I'm not paying $9.50 for it, but if there's any still on the shelf next week, I'll buy it and put it in the freezer.
Why bother denying? Grisham her damn self is Trump's third Press Secretary in 2.5 years. Who's left of the original staffers from the Trump regime to make such a statement false?

Grisham doesn't even do pressers - basically the Trump regime ended the process of regular press conferences during the Huckster era Who knows what job Grisham allegedly does
"Some people call me the Space Cowboy . . . " Oh, for those innocent days when the departing WH staff did pranks like removing the "W" key from keybards. https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-2002-jun-12-na-clinton12-story.html JUNE 12, 2002 WASHINGTON -- A yearlong investigation into whether Clinton administration aides left the White House in fraternity-party disarray as they vacated the presidential premises has turned up about $15,000 in damage, according to a government report released Tuesday. . . . The GAO concluded that “damage, theft, vandalism, and pranks did occur in the White House during the 2001 presidential transition.” The report stated that some incidents, such as removing keyboard keys, placing glue on desk drawers and leaving obscene voicemail messages “clearly were intentional,” and intentional damage would constitute a criminal act under federal law. No prosecutions are planned, though. Could this story have any relevance to today's politics? Democratic lawmakers characterized the investigation as a witch hunt and a waste of hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars. “The GAO’s report confirms what many of us have long known to be true: Claims made by Bush administration officials of widespread vandalism at the White House during the transition just weren’t true,” said Rep. Anthony D. Weiner (D-N.Y.). .

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/20...agreement-south-korea-us-angers-seoul-demand/ This South Korea thing might be a little more complicated . . . which is probably why President Trump appears to be muffing it. There is also irritation at the pressure that Washington is applying to the South to make Seoul sign an extension to a three-way agreement on sharing military information with the US and Japan. The General Security of Military Information Agreement is due to expire at midnight on November 23 and South Korea insists that it will only agree to an extension if Japan cancels restrictions on exports of chemicals critical to the South’s microchip industry. Japan is widely believed to have imposed the restrictions as the latest incident in its troubled relationship with South Korea, which includes the issue of compensation for labourers put to work during Japan’s colonial rule of the Korean Peninsula. So there is also a Japan/Korea thing... And a Japan/U.S. thing... The US demanded in July that Japan pay $8 billion a year to keep 54,000 US military personnel in the country, Foreign Policy reported late last week. Tokyo currently contributes $2 billion a year to US military costs in Japan. “This kind of demand, not only the exorbitant number, but the way it is being done, could trigger anti-Americanism”, Bruce Klinger, an analyst at the Heritage Foundation think tank, told Foreign Policy. “If you weaken alliances, and potentially decrease deterrence and US troop presence, that benefits North Korea, China and Russia, who see the potential for reduced US influence and support for our allies”. Daniel Pinkston, a professor of international relations at the Seoul campus of Troy University, was more blunt in his assessment. “It’s just extortion”, he told The Telegraph. “It’s little more than a mob boss going around and demanding protection money. The numbers that the US is demanding are politically impossible for Seoul and Tokyo to swallow and that is just fuelling resentment." So, maybe it is a three-dimensional game of go wherein the President is trying to ease us out of Empire mode so we can keep more of our wealth at home . . . Or maybe he's in over his head.
I’d rather have his dominionist ass over there than as State Sec. Sorry Kansas, but you’ll have to take another one for the team.
Didn't we see Kurt Volker in Wag the Dog? Maybe they're doing a sequel to save Trump. They have a ready made set in Crimea.
