So how do you think this game will go, Norwich to be fair to them arn't as bad as they're made out to be, there 2 wins have come at home this season and they've happend recently, Its a tradition for Spurs to lose to a team like Norwich when we've just won 4 in a row

anways i'll go for a 2-0 to us, Defoe and Kanoute

    :D

oh and merry christmas all you spurs fans :D

I bet this will be a tough, dour game but we will convert one chance.

1-0 Spurs (Kanoute continues his hot streak with a little individual brilliance, despite valiant efforts from the Robert Green show.)

Would be great if Ginger Pele gifted us a goal and totally fitting!

I am predicting 2-1 (Defoe with both). It would be great to get break our record of wins in a row in the Premiership, especially after the start we had under Jol & for him to be the manager to do it after only a few months in charge.

Doherty has made a couple of mistakes for Norwich but i bet he doesn't make one against us, he will probably score against us (players always seem to score against their old club).

I was getting worried for a bit, HT 0-0 and then up to 15 to go... but Spurs crank it up and off we go :D

Brown's goal is meant to be pretty damn good too. Now, let's destroy Palace - they deserve it!!

Great to hear the boys doing well.

Didn't get to hear much of the game as I was still doing some Christmas stuff with the family so does anyone have any ratings??

Our boys will crush them mate

A rested and hungry Defoe to bang in a few goals. Jol to rub it all in Dowie's face.

My beloved teletext gave all the Spurs lot a pretty average rating, with only Brown scoring a 7 out of 10. Bloody good goal by him too. Screamer. Nice to see him playing in his position and making an impact.

    Man, thank fudge Santini left!

Here are mine out of 10:

Robinson: 7 - got fingertips to a McKenzie header in the 2nd half which saved a goal. Didn't do much wrong, but nothing spectacular. Another deserved clean sheet.

Edman: 7 - made a few good tackles, especially one great one in the 2nd half.

Naybet: 8 - did really well, made a terrific goalsaving clearance off the line and was tidy in his other defensive moments.

King: 7 - did nothing wrong, looked composed although McKenzie gave us some problems with his pace and strength in the air.

Pamarot: 6 - his side got a bit exposed by Huckerby's pace and there wasn't much creativity either. No errors, but not dominant.

Atouba: 6.5 - some more lovely showboating and a few dangerous crosses. Did lose the ball a few times when Norwich were pressing hard.

Carrick: 6 - had a couple of long shots and in the last half hour controlled the game with his passing, but was bypassed in the first hour.

Brown: 8 - My man of the match, lots of good tackling, a cynical foul on Huckery and a wonderful second goal to seal the win.

Mendes: 6 - not a right mid and still to score a goal, although he came close with a left foot volley which Green tipped away. Decent player who working hard and doing a job for the team, but a better solution is needed.

Keane: 6.5 - showed some good touches and pace but didn't link well enough with Freddie when he had the chance to. A good poacher's goal at the right time though, with more confidence and match sharpness he will get better.

Kanoute: 6 - Doherty unfortunately had a great game (!) and was marking Freddie. Still showed his pace and skill though, unlucky not to be given the chance to score.

    Subs:

Reto Ziegler: 7 - did well and looked composed as usual, put in some good balls. If Atouba is not fit for Palace, then I think Ziegler should play left mid. In fact I think he should play regardless.

Jermaine Defoe: 7 - looked sharp and just by being on the pitch he seemed to terrify the Norwich defenders. Played a part in the second goal with his movement dragging the defenders towards him and making space for Brown's shot. Could have scored a third goal, but Green just about saved his shot with his legs.

Jamie Redknapp: n/a - just on for Brown with a few minutes left to waste time and keep the team holding the lead.

Here's the best media report I found:

Why your coach insists in putting Pedro Mendes, an excellent central/defensive Midfielder playing as a right winger?!
I heard some stories of him not being happy and the possibility of him returning to FC Porto (that would be great news for us...)

We have no one else that can play there. That is the simple fact. Yes, he is a great central midfielder but Carrick and Brown are doing better there. We will be buying right wingers in the transfer window and that will leave Mendes as backup in central midfield (along with Sean Davies).

The funniest thing (apart from Warren Barton being a total idiot as usual on Sky's match choice) was the review in The Mirror today. They claimed Atouba was centre back, King was left back, Edman was left midfield and Carrick was right midfield.
