Rumour today is that Argentinian striker Matías Emanuel Godoy [17] to Chelsea Football Club in January IF the ban gets lifted.

I like his you tube video :p
He is like a young Aguero

Antonio Conte is keen to sign Olivier Giroud in January.

I wonder what Conte and Sarri think about the current Chelsea team.

yeah, I saw all that. But it was Dybala who replaced him, who is no slouch! And they wound up winning the game.

Managing a megastar in decline isn't easy, though Ronaldo in decline is still a top 10 player in the world.

Yeah, apparently Arrizabalaga called Ronaldo offered his advice on Sarri attempting to substitute a player.

Ben Chillwell gets the MOTM award in the England game and Lampard approves via social media. Chillwell to Chelsea is on the cards. Maybe they would take Drinkwater in part exchange?

    Eh?
The price will increase if we try to include Drinkwater in a deal.

More noise about us after Sancho too.

Today's rumour: Pep and Citeh are after Ben Chilwell [22] after growing frustrated with Benjamin Mendy [25]. Seems like Ben Chilwell and his agent are seeking a move.

Rumour resurface: Chelsea have been linked with a summer move for Napoli's 25-year-old right-back Elseid Hysaj.

If he becomes available then we probably should. Not sure that we "need" him. But that is not really the point now is it. He's good and we cannot let him go elsewhere. Willian, CHO, Pulisic, Mount and Sancho after 3 starting spots essentially.

Piero Ausilio, sporting director of Inter was in the Capital last week to tie up a deal for Giroud...so the rumour goes.

Now, I get that Lampard will more than likely have to let him leave, strictly speaking from a business point of view, it's a no brainer.
From a sporting point of view I'm sure Lampard wants the luxury of a third (and different) option in the squad, if not the bench, but Giroud obviously doesn't want to play ball (pun intended) with that idea.

Question now is, will Lampard allow the squad to be short up front with the most demanding part of the season around the bend after January, or will he look to replenish the ranks. And if so...who with?....and....and...who will be willing to be a part of Chelsea, but most likely not even be in the match day 18 most of the time?

    Need?
Well, that remains to be seen whether or not we do, eh?
Pedro looks (for the life of me can't figure that one out) like he's gone, perhaps even in January and Willian is still to be even offered a new deal, let alone engage in talks about it.

    Specifically need Sancho?
    No.
Need someone like him to play the right wing...very well may do.
Like you said, might as well be him.

am I the only one becoming less impressed with Chilwell, delivers a beautiful ball going forward with space, but don't see how he is an improvement over Alonso defensively, let alone Emerson or AZ on lb defensive end

Biggest concern for me is the lack of consistency. He was really good in the last international on both ends but do agree he is better going forward than defensively. He has the tools to be a complete player and I don’t see him any worse than what we currently have with perhaps more upside, but I wouldn’t be jumping all over him and paying the English premium to boot.

Per earlier discussions we should be focusing on the top end of the market and find players that make us demonstrably better. We have plenty of potential in the squad and whilst it’s nice to find more like players we shouldn’t be stuck on a single approach in building the squad.

Apparently we are interested in Wigan's 17-year-old English striker Joe Gelhardt.

AND a 17 year old Brazilian

Chillwell's only real advantage over Emerson and Alonso would be his exceptional pace. Full backs need speed these days. Reece James is a more complete football player than Chillwell. Wrong side though. The issue is everybody is buying the kids these days as the exceptional older players at the higher end of the market are already accounted for. Who is available? Chillwell with Ashley Cole coaching him, might be something.

Chelsea, Liverpool and Napoli are all keeping tabs on Genk's Norwegian midfielder Sander Berge [21]. Sander Berge comes from a basketball playing family, with his father, Swedish mother and older brother all having played basketball at international level. Sander Berge is tall. He is 6ft 5". He is a DM and it is thought that IF Kante or Jorghino move on. . .he would be an option.

Willian is to snub a two-year extension offer and run down his contract at the end of the season in order to secure a move to Barcelona.

Today the rumour is that we want Russia's CSKA Moscow striker Fedor Chalov, 21, in January if the transfer ban is lifted.

Giroud wants out by all accounts as he needs to be playing every week if he wants to make the Euro’s with France AND Michy Batsman just isn’t good enough imho. Michy came on against Citeh and he ran and he chased and he fell over and he really tried and he just doesn’t have the quality.

Chelsea are very very VERY keen on signing Argentinian wonderkid Matías Emanuel Godoy [who is 18 in January].

Chelsea are also keen on Wigan lad Joseph Paul Gelhardt [17].

Moussa Dembélé [23] is a Chelsea target and possible Giroud replacement.

Fyodor Chalov [21] is also being seen as a Giroud replacement, but another team are very keen on Chalov

I think its good to scoop up as well develop the young talented players. But I think we need a top-level world class striker next summer. Player X and Tammy as our main strikers and a left back and a winger/striker to replace Pedro and maybe an experienced CB and we could be in business

We can make bids and agree to terms even under the ban. We just can’t register players. We could agree to terms with the club and player. He just won’t be able to start until the end of the ban.

The transfer ban hearing was on November 20th and we get to hear about the outcome of that in early December.

Rumour of the day is we are after Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Kai Havertz, [20] for the sum of €130 million or £111m sterling and aim to sign him next summer according to reports in Germany.

This winter break --- if the transfer gods are kind --- we are apparently looking to sign OCG Nice star Youcef Atal [23]. Right back, winger, Algerian, 5ft 10".
