Look how far Fonz is from goal as Henry pulls his hammy. It reminds me of how badly Egg positioned Pulisic.

Zardes is good for one thing: making smart runs and getting in good spots. But he's still very questionable with the ball at his feet. If he had even an average professional striker's technical ability to go with his high soccer IQ, he'd be the best American striker ever.

David looking around for speedsters and is fouled while looking in vain for somebody to pass to on the break. Fonz not in sight because he is a left back.

I don't think playing in the Cuscatlán is any harder than playing in the BMO.

Morales for McKennie around the 60 to 65th would be nice if the result holds. Keep him healthy and fresh for the next game.

Kaye & Yueill are becoming close friends.

PS: Lletget is not a striker. Now we know for sure.

It’s just Canada, but I think the big difference tonight is Yuiell over Bradley and Lletget over Roldan.

How do you not hit the target there?

I’m still vaguely uneasy seeing so many players in their actual positions. I’ll take a shot in honor of the system. I knew it was perfect but not this perfect.
Also I can’t believe we can defend the defensive midfield without our Pirlo to guide us through jogging drills.
The team right now is playing like beer holder used to play. Basically no skill , a lot of competitiveness and some guile.

Is it me or Weston McKennie has been hiding from the ball?

Love having Dest on the team. Somebody who is great to watch. Such a huge improvement over Cannon.

So far Yuiell has looked far better in the midfield roll then Bradley or Trapp. I'd keep him there unless Adams is available.

People on the Dest thread insist Mazraoui is much better though.

Morris has to do better with that.
