I really love Morris as a player. He is not "great" per se, he lacks the athleticism to be a great player but he works really hard with what he has. He is like a high school player who had to work very hard to make the cut in the varsity team

nice that he made the right call initially, but after that the referee totally mismanaged the whole thing. He allowed the GK to be way too close to the kick in the end. And set the wall in the wrong place

It's been a solid half. Lletget, Morris, Dest, Zardes have been good. Yueill did his job, and I already prefer him to Trapp. Then, I'd prefer an orange cone to Trapp.

Ream has done fine in his role. Arriola was always a step too slow, and Brooks has looked like the weak point in defense. But, otherwise, this has been the best 45' under Egg so far.

 

Does anybody know who hit the diagonal pass to MOrris that went for the Zardes header goal? I know Dest recovered with a headed pass to somebody along the right touchline who sent the pass to Morris but I don't know who it was. Yueil? Arriola?
