Carlos tevez to MLS ??????? 35 years old on a +$41 mill USD / season- his contract ends december 31, 2019

it would be a set-back for the league and for any MLS team- talk about 'milking the cow'

ridiculous if any team does this deal-- in his younger days, carlos WAS one of the top strikers in the world- not now

But wouldn't that make Serie A a retirement league?

It already is. MLS had 21 players this past year over the age of 35 play a league game. Serie A already has 18 with 6 months left in the season. Assuming that the 34 year olds that are going to be 35 keep playing they will have 22 at a minimum. And that is a down year for them as they had 30 in 18/19, 28 in 17/18, and 31 in 16/17. This also might be the first time since 15/16 that there isn't a 40+ year old field player that sees time there (something that I think last happened in 2009 with Claudio Saurez at Chivas USA).

Zlatan as the Godfather. I certainly wouldn't kiss his ring, but then it isn't like he actually won any yet while playing here.
