Dont know if this is true........but arias should talk about his situation with simone istead of complaining to queiroz......he isnt james...to complain about beign starter or not

some recognition of Simeone to Arias......at the end i think trippier wont contribute more than in free kicks and arias will be the starter

...but does this mean he will be benched in Champions League?

I believe Arias has a good chance of winning his strarting spot back.

 

Trippier was a wasteful buy. Atletico should of not bought him, and used the money to invest in more youth.

knowing simeone he will be tired soon of trippier that only contribute with free kicks.....dont know if arias will be the favored one....but i doubt tthat in june they wont loom for a new right back because trippier flop

 

I thought it was a waste because Trippier sucks defensively, but he's been one of the best players for Atletico so far this season so I wouldn't write him off so quickly. Arias is better defensively but this Atletico team has no creativity and essentially are utilizing their fullbacks as playmakers and that fits Trippier's game more right now unfortunately.

 

Trippier each is decreasing since the start of the league...

 

It wouldn't suprise me he started way better then he's ever played, so him regressing to the mean would make sense and hopefully Arias profits from it.

 

I wonder what happened to Arias in yesterdays game.
He played in La Liga during the week but was not even benched..
Was that the finale for Santi?

 

And the funniest part is that Queiroz and Yepes were at the match to see him play.



I would not be shocked to see Medina start over him as he has in most of our matches this cycle.
