  1. Karsdorp and Dumfries are as fast as he is and I thought the way Karsdorp Messi'ed himself through the Oporto defense was pretty amazing.

  2. It's like Quale against that other vice president candidate ( I've known Kenney, you're not a Kennedy) I can say: "I've seen Carlos and Marcello....he's not a Carlos or Marcello.

  3. The resilience of the Orange explained, where does it come from?

"Before the break a weak Orange and 1-0 trailing against Slovakia, then in comes Ruud Vormer as a substitute and it began to spin. Vormer is not a top player, but his aggressiveness helped the team that evening and also specifically made the midfielder next to him, Davy Pröpper, better.

That's the way Koeman thinks, more often in couples who can complement and reinforce each other. And: all (potential) subs also know with him that they can come in, everyone has clarity about his role
    ."

Dest is way quicker than Dumfries. Straight line speed is probably close. Dumfries is much better physically. I thought Karsdrop was going to be world class... still just 24 and has plenty of time to resurrect career.

  6. I created three threads to specifically comment on players regarding the line they play in, defense/midfield/attack, so it becomes more easy to find things back.

  12. Anyway, Barca is soon a memory as it will be cut from LaLiga with the separation wave.
He has a clause that if either Overmars or van der Sar moves, he's free to sign a contract with another party. fake news :D

I dont like these clauses either, but I dont think KNVB wouldve been able to sign him without that clause.

Koeman BTW has pulled this stunt before when he ditched PSV midseason for Valencia in 2007

This would be extremely detrimental for both Barcelona and La Liga. The latter would just be another League 1 where one team overwhelmingly dominates the league year in year out with some outliers here and there, maybe.

  15. Koeman raus:D

^^ I already noted over on the Ajax thread that FOUR of the players nominated came from last season's Ajax team. I think only ManCity and Liverpool had as many or more players on the list. If we are looking at the player who did the most for his team, Dusan Tadic is perhaps most deserving. I don't think he missed a single match and his move to a false 9 was key to Ajax march to the semifinals of the CL and 30 seconds from the finals.

Happy to see Stengs and Weghorst, i only hope they won' be cut.

Koopmeiners is very underrated, he should be in the squad instead of Vilhena.

Awesome for Stengs and Westhorst! Both fairly undeniable at this point... although I have a feeling Westhorst will still be cut.

Koopmeiers definitely deserves a spot over Vilhena and Strootman. I'd like to see Wijndal as well, although in fairness PvA is doing pretty well and hasn't gotten any time either. But I do feel like Wijndal is much more defensively solid.
