I’m sure there’s a lot more technical and physical quality in the middle eastern leagues.

 

I honestly don't know enough about them to make a truly informed decision, however, the generally poor level shown by most middle East NT's out of their confederation, except perhaps for Iran (and unlike most of the teams in the region, they are relatively more represented in Europe), doesn't speak well of those leagues. They do have an advantage over the MLS though: less teams per league.

I honestly wonder why do people give so much shit to those teams. The Portuguese league might not be great, but it is very good at polishing players and those two teams are among the top 3 over there. Both are by far better choices than another season at the MLS or going to a Chivas team that's not good to develop young players and let's face it, he wouldn't be able to fix Chivas' issues.

And if he flops in Portugal, it isn't as if MLS or Liga MX wouldn't open their doors to him afterwards.

 

Córdoba rumors to Sevilla are picking up again since they're gonna lose Banega.

No one was criticizing the big two Portuguese teams, just Antuna.

Frustrating to see players like Guti and possibly Antuna make the jump while we have guys like Guzmán and Pizarro rotting in Liga MX.
