I know this guy is not one of the sexy YAs, but today he got his shot, coming in for apparently injured Bermejo at 42', and did fine. Tenerife managed a 0-0 away at Mirandés.

Bummer. Their defense did well to contain Mirandés in the second half, as per reports. I thought Shaq was part of it.

 

Fotmob has it wrong, too. Someone keyed in 21 instead of 20 somewhere and it hasn't been corrected.

Important game for Tenerife. They're barely above the relegation zone, a loss here could see them back down there (in La Liga 2, the bottom four are relegated, from #19 to #22, and they are #17).

Shaq very active so far, he's cut two Getafe attacks & has sent a cross that lacked a bit of oomph though.

And now gets late to a challenge and gets the first yellow.

It was a kick on the knee, it was an orange more than a yellow.

 

37' and Shaw has done well controlling Mojica/Izquierdo on his side, so now Girona is attacking mainly on the other side.

45' and Tenerife's captain Aitor Sanz gets a red, foul on a guy who was going for it alone. Now they're screwed.

BTW, Shaq allowed a very dangerous shot from the side by covering their winger wrong. It hit the post.
