Watching Sancho play today vs. Schalke, it would be hard to convince anyone that he's better than CP. A lot of ball watching. Didn't see the last 25 minutes, so maybe that was when he got going.
I for one am happy to see him getting serious looks at LW. That was a mistake by BVB, not playing him on the left.
Ryan Giggs was a top player though. Willian goes through periods of being atrocious on the ball, especially last season. I think he starts more for what he does off the ball than anything else.
Christian Pulisic is the first American to score two goals in a single game in the Premier League since Clint Dempsey in 2012.What a way to mark your return to the squad. pic.twitter.com/VyCaWDEhew— Squawka (@Squawka) October 26, 2019
Chelsea goals/assists per 90 minutes this season in all competitions (min. 200 minutes):Christian Pulisic: 1.15Tammy Abraham: 0.89Mason Mount: 0.55Willian: 0.34 Not bad for a marketing signing. 🧐 pic.twitter.com/t3Byli8ecV— MLS Buzz (@MLS_Buzz) October 26, 2019
Burnley 0-3 Chelsea. Pulisic PERFECT hat trick. The American will take tonight's match ball home with him, after heading in Mason Mount's ball for his third.Follows a left foot and a right foot goal.Remarkable.— Dan Levene (@danlevene) October 26, 2019 Hat-trick Hero
I cant think of a better result for him today. I thought to myself just get one to reward Lampard's use of him, but to get 3??? Just insanely awesome and great for him. Burnley leaving way too much space for the Chelsea wings helped create it but still it was awesome the way he was running at people making them pick him out, also freeing up space for others too. But some great individual play as well.
