Assuming we’re keeping the Fire identity. I agree it will take time to get people soured on the brand to change their mind. All indications point to this being the likeliest case. If it’s a total reset, I think it’s just about getting the right players and marketing. Atlanta was able to become an overnight success in the Deep South. If it can be done there, it sure as hell can be done here.
I don’t think the market of people soured on the brand is anywhere near as large As the market willing to go to Soldier Field for an event.
I just was a Chicago Fire commercial about 2020 season tickets, on the halftime show of the USA/Canada game on ESPN2
Well there goes any chance of success for next season. Anyone who watched that game is never going want to watch soccer ever again.
Damn Sout' Siders!, you mean. My grandfather was all about "De" and "Dos" and "give me a couple of dem crackers" and "going to the sout' side" "th" is for p*ssies.
Heard a radio ad about the NSF move and getting seat deposits in on the drive this morning. Definitely a good sign.
Spend Saturday at Soldier Field 😍Join us for our 2019 Locker Room Sale and Open House:— Chicago Fire FC (@ChicagoFire) October 28, 2019
I'm so pissed I'm going to be out of town for this. I always find a way to miss the Blackhawks offseason sale too.
It's hit or miss. One year I went I got shorts, practice jerseys, a long sleeve jersey, and warm up pants for $150. One year all jerseys were $85 and nothing was really on sale. I won't be able to make this one. If anyone is going and can help me out that would great.
I got a Nery Castillo jersey once. Also got the same large parka that Yallop used and my mom calls it "The Potato Skin".
If I remember right, the benches were on the west side of the stadium, correct? And I think the home bench is on the north half, visitors south?
