Yep. Even if he is more attack than defense oriented, he would fit nicely with mendy providing more defense cover on the left. I am not a fan of having both full backs very attack oriented.
I don’t follow BVB either. to me Carvajal’s time as a starter should be coming to and end. We definitely need to bring Achraf back next season and make space for him. We just bought Mendy so the left back spot is kinda unavailable for now. He is so versatile. Great asset to have. Not to get too carried away tho. Prague gave him a lot of space to run into. And we’ve seen pacey players look world class when operating in space which they won’t get once they are here.
