I watched 60 minutes. McCarthy was really bad. Not statesmanlike, not knowledgable, not a gifted speaker, just a dumb ass. I mean this whole thing has jumped the shark.

Supporting Trump at this point is some kind of personality defect. Clearly, the Russians, and Trump, and a couple of other people have done the math and he loses to Joe Biden. (They are less worried about Warren, Bernie, et al) so this blitzkrieg goes out for dirt.

They sent Rudy, they withheld aid, they are desperate to paint Biden's son as some kind of bad guy. The Donald, has encouraged / cooperated (one could even say "colluded") with foreign governments to impact the 2020 election. Because even with the 2 or 3 points that the Russian bots, and the NRA can provide he loses to Biden. So here we are.

Beneficial to who? To the country? To you? To immigrant children being kidnapped? To increase in white terrorism? To keep mass shootings a thing?

I knew @Sounders78 would disagree and he is right, of course.

My point about Fox being like a religion is that the followers listen only to it and reject any contradictory information, despite (and in spite) of that contradictory information being facts and actual truthful information.

Of course, as Sounder78 explains, many/most Fox News viewers are evangelicals, and evangelicals (and Christians/religious people generally) have been conditioned, over generations, to believe absolute nonsense as "gospel."

    Good questions.
He did say he does not want "redistribution," so I guess most beneficial means the one who does not want redistribution.

I've noticed that the folks who voted Reagan still seem to be stuck in the 80s. Same with Dems who came to political power in the 80s. And as someone who was born two years before Reagan's presidency ended, I honestly wish the rest of my party would bite back for once. I mean, really bite back. The way Reagan is seen is something, but all I see is a guy who said "well" a lot.

Don't forget that the Republicans also thought the Berlin Wall falling and the Cold War ending was the end of history. But as Dr. Manhattan said, "Nothing ever ends."

Hmmm. So if Hillary gets locked up, will Trump have to be locked up too for 'doing the same thing'?

Meanwhile, more on the voyeur Gym Jordan and Jake Tapper.

CNN's Jake Tapper broke Trump's pedo-surrogate Jim Jordan
    Sep 29, 2019 12:14pm PDT by SemDem,Community
Pedophilia and sexual assault have never been a deal breaker within the GOP. Neither have the scumbags who protect them. Despite the fact that as a wrestling coach at Ohio State University, Rep. Jim Jordan knewthe team doctor was sexually assaulting kids on the team according to multiple former athletes, he did nothing to stop them. Like the snake he is, he tried denying everything, but then admitted he dismissed the allegations because he heard them in a locker room.

Bolton is f**** crazy but he is not stupid...

Former National Security Adviser John Bolton was at odds with President Trump over his July phone call with the president of Ukraine, NBC News reports.
“Three officials said Bolton argued against Trump calling Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy on July 25 because he was concerned the president wasn’t coordinating with advisers on what to say and might air personal grievances.”

Jake Tapper didn't put up with the b*ll$hit. Jim Jordan's voice went up an octave, he garbled a few syllables and just stopped talking after Tapper said "I would think that somebody who's been accused of things in that last year or two would be more sensitive about throwing out wild allegations against people."

I don't know if I can find the appropriate gif to describe this verbal hadouken.

    Love it

For industry people, it's obvious that half the "PR Strategies" used by Trump are actually just stupidity rather than 9D chess. While we are clearly in the era of misinformation and straight up lying, sometimes it is better just to suck it up and take a bullet, apologise and move on - instead of invoking civil war :ROFLMAO:
