The double standard is there. Anyone who has even the slightest sense to stop and think for themselves can see it. Thats not whats really interesting though. Go to the next question. Ask yourself why such an obvious double standard is being promoted across the West because its not just by chance.
Yeah, that's true. It is unfortunate that you're just living your life in south africa and then you get murdered for it by a group of people who dislike your group of people. IDK how they got there. But nobody in this thread has argued that blacks can't be racist. I asked for equivalent behavior where white footballers receive racist abuse playing in minority non-white countries
I understand it very well. But you have the double standards. Ever hear that white boys can't jump? It is said in basketball arenas at all levels. Some may say that is racist.
I don’t understand why we can’t focus on a singular issue. Always having to divert to another situation or example. One situation is not dependent on the other.
to my knowledge that white men don't perform as well in dunking the basketball or that their mother is attractive and knows it has never been used as a justification for enslaving them or denying them the right to vote or not allowing them to attend certain schools or eat at certain restaurants which is the point
Right, because it was the fear of the dunk that lead to enslavement. What justification did the Egyptians have enslaving the Jews? How about other cultures including Mesopotamia, Babylonia, China, Mesoamerica, Arabia and included people of all races. Side note, the tribes in Africa not only traded slaves, they practiced slavery as well. Get out of the past. Living it gets you no where. Having a narrow view of the world does you no good.
The enslavement of the Jews by the Egyptians during the time of Moses does not carry the same societal effect that the 400 years of Trans-Atlantic slavery did.
Egyptians never enslaved the Jews, though. So what justification did they have indeed? The rest of the justifications throughout history have indeed been racism, that the inferior people is meant to serve the superior people. Since like the foundation of slavery.
So little you know of history. It usually was the defeated that were enslaved. Otherwise, how do you explain people of the same race enslaving the other? Sure, there was the idea of superiority but often it had nothing to do with race. Have an open mind and get out of this racial bias.
You're particularly slow, even for a Juve fan. You want to get pedantic? Race isn't real. Even Mussolini knew this. But when we talk about racism we talk about the treating of groups of people as if they are inherently inferior. This was the justification used to enslave Africans in Europe and the Americas. This was the justification used to segregate society. This was the justification used to disenfranchise. Monkey noises and throwing bananas is meant as a reminder that 'blacks are apes' and thus deserving of what they had endured. That is what is appalling.
Myths people with no historical knowledge believe: 1. That blacks were the only enslaved race in the world history. News flash - they weren't. 2. That blacks were enslaved by white people. News flash - they weren't, they were bought by white people, mostly, but enslaved by black people almost exclusively. 3. That the sins of the father should also be paid by the sons. News flash - they don't, nowhere, never. This is the basic rule of law - you do you, you pay yo and no one else. Otherwise many black people would be having saved spots in prisons and such, inheriting their fathers' spots. It's such a shame that everyone who has figured out how to save the world from racism hasn't read a single page of history in their lives. Science, history or statistics is ever are unknowns for those people. They'd rather swallow an easy lie that fits their narrative, than accept a hard truth that doesn't fit.
Fabian's gonna be one of the best midfielders in Serie A (if he isn't already) and he makes a quarter of what Pastore makes. Cheers Mongo,
