Luckily PSG also has plenty of their own injuries to deal with.

Zidane: we have 7 games in 21 days. We will surely have to use everyone. The critics won’t change. What we have to change are the results

Zidane pulling out Casemiro and Kroos again, would be tragicomic. Seriously.

What is it with all these muscular injuries????
Seems like our players get injured even when they're playing PES or FIFA at home.
Damn, either they're that weak, or the medical stuff exaggerates any minimal pain and considers it an injury.
    The situation is really weird.

Something isn't right for players to get injured this many times!

Fede got injured playing 105 mins for Uruguay. Unfortunate but not crazy. Guy barely plays for us thus far and he probably overdid it with his NT.

Just got an email welcoming Areola, then I thought to myself that this is the stupidest trade Madrid has done.

They let Navas go for him. They should have traded Cortois instead.

Hazard is available tomorrow. I really hope Zidane gives him the freedom in the midfield and not play close to the sidelines as the limits Hazards potential in my opinion.

Expect to see a James, Kroos, Casemiro midfield with Benz, Bale and Hazard up front.

Not that it matters as our backup goalkeeper but,

has anyone extensively watched Arreola? I've seen a number of games and it was never a poor showing. I never understood why PSG was trotting out a 40-year-old Buffon and not giving Arreola the reins.

I assume he must not be good given that PSG basically dumped him to us, but I don't know if he's been given a fair chance to showcase himself.

He went to Frankfurt last season.

Looking back, it seems Arreola was the starter in Neymar's first year in Paris, the year we beat them in the R16. At least, he started against us in those two legs.

Him going to PSG was the greatest bit of charity I've ever seen in my life. Went from being a pretty decent goalkeeper to being in relationships with Supermodels, champions league football and access to the very top level and nobody can really explain how and why it even happened.

Half time. Good showing. Cannot remember the last time Madrid had first half this good.

They are defending better, pressuring and making the rival make mistakes instead of just rushing in and missing the challenge.

They are making sure there is always a teammate available in spaces.

Now, James and Vinicius. Both with an assist, but they need to calm down. I know James is just trying his hardest to impress Zidane but maybe he just needs to be a bit more calm. Vinicius just can't seem to finish those play either for pass or shot

Overall, good first half. Not a single shot from Levante on goal. Madrid did start with those useless crosses from the endline, but they modified and the attack improved.

Also, that 3rd goal, VAR was just looking for an excuse to invalidate it. If it would have been Barcelona, they would have never done that. I also dislike that referee a lot, he hates Madrid.
