What a great goal by Muriel. No James isn't ideal, but this team is set up to counter and press, its crazy how good you can counter attack when you don't have the corpse of Falcao playing against a team like Brazil. With all due to respect to Falcao of course, but we played him in games against team like Brazil and others that wasn't his strength, Duvan/Muriel/Roger is a front 3 set up where all 3 of them can dribble/break and hold the ball up if needed.

Its fine playing Tesillo and Medina in a game like this with Neymar/Coutinho/Richarlison wide, we don't need our fullbacks to get forward and provide width, they need to stay home and defend and let the front 3 break exactly the way they are. In games where we gonna have a ton of the ball we need more offensive fullbacks but today its almost like a flat back 4, no need for a back 3.

You guys realize I hope that if it was actual game that worth something and not friendly, we were losing it... Very good half of Colombia, although our defense is a bit shaky. Tesillo can't handle with Richarylson and also had the goal on him. On the other hand, Brazil are clueless regarding our wingers and counter attacks, which says that Queiroz's plan to play without 10 is working perfectly. And yes, Duvan MUST start over Falcao in the qualifiers.
Queiroz did the same mistake pekerman did in Brazil 2014. Against Chile. Hope he at least learned from that mistake James for Cuadrado and hopefully a LB pops up during qualifiers. Tho what going to happen when Quintero and James are healthy.
Brazil have stepped it up this half and we have had a hard time dealing with them. Not really a crime, they have a ton of talent that would trouble anyone.
