Some of us don't regard this as a 'plus.'

Seems like a smart decision not to choose now... hopefully Afellay is on his ears a lot these days, and will be an excellent influencer of Ihattaren making the right choice (I.e. eventually opting for Oranje).

Koopmeiners in midfield could be a nice complementary piece for Oranje. I think he is due for a call-up. He’s a tidy deep-lying playmaker with ability to control the tempo and distribute the ball. Has a sweet left foot and can shoot from distance (although surprisingly he hasn’t scored that many). Not as silky or graceful as Frenkie de Jong. More like a bigger, taller, stronger, more explosive Jordy Clasie. Ironically they are competing for minutes at AZ.

As far as I remember, the last two Dutch fullbacks represented by Raiola, "vdWeil & Tete", got their career messed up o_O.

Van der wiel was an average defender but yet he managed to play at a top club like PSG for over 5 seasons. Did this messed his career up. His downfall was more to do with his off field antics.

Tete is a different story all together at Lyon. A good attacking fullback was always going to bench him bcause he more defensive. This is what happened to him in NT and also currently at lyon. If he would have stayed at ajax, like Tete took over from van rhijn, Mazraoui too would have done the same.

You look at Bakker. He landed at PSG. I dont think Raiola will hold his D*ck up for him to Piss , he needs to do it by himself. Simply as that. If he doesnt, you cant just blame Raiola for looking after his clients.

Kluivert is good example,he has been working harding at Roma and its has paid off him.

His movement was positive since he subbed on. Had one clean shot parried by the opposing G.K, and another shot deflected to almost a goal (though he was eventually judged to be in an offside position). It will be interesting to see if El Ghazi can sneak into a starting line up. The fella he replaced, Jota, was pretty unimpressive. The other two Villa forwards, Trezeguet and Wesley (goal scorer) were quite lively though.

El-Ghazi scored today. He might still be a bench player option in the future for Oranje

Jota had a great game. Was ranked as player of the match or second best player in all the ratings I've seen.

As for El Ghazi, he could be a bench piece for Oranje moving forward but hoping the youngsters take the step forwards and are starters sooner than later

Its still early and plus El Ghazi in interview said communication is a problem with the new comers as they speak very little English.looking at El Ghazi's rise last season there was no doubt he would be an influential player for villa . The only thing he has do now is to work on his consistency. He was pretty much average last week and that could be the reason why he started of the bench. If not for injuries,I have him on my list for euros.

I can also see him replacing Babel.

Janssen with his first goal for Monterrey.

Hopefully he can find his form as I always thought he had some nice potential. Great hold up player but lost his confidence at Tottenham. Was an awful move for him right from the start.

Always had a soft spot for Vincent. Would be nice to see him back in Oranje

Man, Tim Krul is killing it with Norwich this season. There’s no way Cillessen is a better shot stopper than him, let alone penalties. Made some excellent saves despite conceding two goals, for which he was not responsible.
For me, the starting GK position in Oranje should be competitive. Cillessen kept his spot despite warming the bench with Barcelona for years.
The third keeper imo is between Vermeer and Bizot.

On the other hand, Ramselaar is back to Utrecht. I hope he regains his form there. He is still a young player with an excellent potential, just wasn’t Lucky at PSV.

Thought Van Aanholt did really well today. Defensively he held up. Good positioning and hardly beaten. Also had an excellent block to an almost-certain goal. His match-winner could probably have been credited to De Gea goofing up, but don’t forget that he was the one who drove the ball upfield intently after Pogba was dispossessed and created the space for Zaha. If he’s locked in, PvA is a great asset to have. He does need to limit turnovers and keep up his concentration the whole time.

Johan Derksen, pro muslim bashing party Forum voor Democratie, has an opinion on Muslim players:
Johan Derksen vreest voor keuze Ihattaren: ‘Ik vind het een beetje ondankbaar’
    Maandag, 19 augustus 2019 om 21:21
    [IMG]
Johan Derksen heeft zich opnieuw uitgelaten over een speler die mogelijk niet voor het Nederlands elftal gaat kiezen. De analist van Veronica Inside vreest dat Mohamed Ihattaren voor Marokko gaat kiezen en vindt dat een aderlating voor Nederland.

With his backing of a racist, misogynic party he's the last one to have an opinion on Muslims making a choice, which incidently did occur after the rise of the Wilders party with their vile and racist talking about their background.
You back a party that pisses them straight in their face and then tell them they have a moral obligation to represent you?
    Really?

I am afraid it would be much better if those lads shut up. Honestly. Such statements actually can only lead players from non-dutch backgrounds to stay away from Oranje and become less loyal to the country they grew up in.

I don't want to talk politics, but look at how Ozil reacted after being highly criticized by the fans and politicians in Germany for attending an Erdogan ceremony. He just retired internationally. I am pretty sure that every young German- Turkish player now thinks like, this is how it might end up, even after winning a WC title!
