Curious what folks have found to be the best cable provider or streaming service (Hulu, Sling etc..) for watching Women's college soccer on TV. I'll watch any college game but am most interested in these conferences: 1 - ACC 2 - Big 10 3 - SEC 4 - Pac12 What are you all using?
If DISH Network doesn’t pick up the ACCN, I am going to sign up for a short term subscription to Hulu Live. It’s the least expensive of all of the ACCN alternatives. My DISH subscription already has the other ones.
I agree re: Sling, I assume with the Sports Extra package. I can't tell if they will carry the ACCN - do you know for sure?
I had Sling last year, and it was great. All the ACCN and ACCN Extra games, easy menus, plus easy access for the PAC 12 network. This year, Sling has not signed on, yet, for the ACC Network, so I'm going Hulu, but I have no idea how to access ACCNX games. No one at Virginia really has a clue, either. I've called the AD's office and emailed the media relations guy for the women's team. About all they can say is that the games will be on Hulu....
It is ACC Network Extra, not the actual ACC Network. I thought Sling had it too, but as of now, they do not.
The AACNX is available through the standard ESPN app, and there will be games through the app. Virginia, for example, has 5 games on the network, but 10 games through the ESPN app.
Val, where are you getting your info? I thought the VA media relations people weren’t helpful? I think all of the match streaming experienced in year’s past is gone. I hope I’m wrong.
They've been completely un********ing helpful. I went to TheACC.com and there's a FAQ page: http://theacc.com/news/2019/3/11/general-acc-network-frequently-asked-questions.aspx
Hm, guess Disney thought it was weird Sling would get ACCNxtra but not ACCN, too. I got a note from Sling saying Disney has pulled their access and they are working on it. Currently shows channel as unavailable in their app. What does that leave for options for watching the FSU game today? Just hulu?
i use a firestick and an ESPN+ subscription, get you more games than you could ever watch.. Add to that, it has a web browser, where you can go to most all the teams sites.

I also have Google Fiber (internet only, not tv), and I can't tell if that will give me access to ACCN or not.. Guess I'll find out tonight..
Ok. I am watching LaSalle v Duke at this moment. This is an ACCNX game. I have Hulu. I signed up for the ESPN app.(which is free) for both my phone and my tv. The ESPN app on my phone asked me to select my tv provider, which is Hulu. Then when I logged on to my TV, I was told to go to a computer, given a specific URL, and an activation code. Entered the code on my phone and my TV was activated. Pretty easy. And I did not have to pay $5 to ESPN for ESPN+. I have, of course, paid for Hulu.
So I watch games on the espn app on Apple TV. Normally I am signed into my tv provider in order to watch espn on the app. When I tried to watch the ACCNX games on the app it wouldn't open the video because it said its not a part of my tv package (I have Comcast). I just signed out of my tv provider on the app and then the ACCNX games worked. Just wanted to put it in case some were having problems on the espn app
Sling live chat says they just dropped ACCN extra today and hope to get it back soon. In the meantime I'm on the HULU live TV free trial and will switch over if Sling doesn't get ACCN extra back.
nocarters or UnkieMark (PAC-12), did Sling turn out to carry the ACCNetwork? Crazyhorse, sweepsit, and Heeligan2 were doubtful. It was disappointing here when Spectrum, our provider, was listed as carrying ACCN but it didn't happen for me with some small print exception about being "grandfathered" in from Time Warner.
