One point is certainly better than no points!

Garden Snake has earned an upgrade to Python for a week: Still non-venomous, but more dangerous!

Thought he was going to pull a Colman and complete the comeback win in Montreal, but alas!

Between Colmán and Garden Sn... err, Python, the Impact really do have a soft spot for unproductive FCD strikers, don’t they?

Seems like Jesus and Pax have switched positions. Jesus had lots of touches (one too many), and was trying to link between the back 5 and the forwards. Pax seemed to be more on the wings and playing more forward. The chalkboard on MLS.com seems to confirm this somewhat.

My mind boggles as I watch FCD fans fawn over ZO and his garbage goal from 7 yards and somehow fail to recognize that other than maybe four other touches he was utter crap. The dude, again, failed to win pretty much all but one contested header, turns the ball over without any pressure and his two other clear opportunities were finished more like a U16, not an experienced Euro vet making $500K.

There is an all-touch video from his 45 minutes. Go watch. And if after watching that you still think he had a "good game" or was worthy of MotM, well, I worry the consistent state of sorry this on-field product has been appears to have whittled away your expectations.

Where are you hearing FCD fans fawning over Ondrasek? Though fans are rooting for him to do something positive, I mostly just hear laughter and groans when he's on the field.
His leaping is amazing. It defies gravity - in a bad way. It's like he's bungee corded to the ground so his upward movement stops suddenly, then he accelerates downward faster than he went upward.

Hey the GS was infectious! 3 goal explosion. Fun game and we got the FCD feed.

I've seen it on Facebook and Twitter and whatnot. It's a little mind-boggling.

Say the Cobra gets hot. He notches six or seven more goals this season. It could happen, like most ot the episodes of The X Files could happen. Extreme realm of possibility.

It would be good in the short term, for a team just trying to make the playoffs. In the long term, it may very well hurt. When the transfer window rolls around, HSG decides that a new striker is not needed--after all, the Cobra will provide all the goals--and concentrate on finding an FC Dallas player the can sell for a half million and replace for $100,000.

    Either way, we are fcuked.

Until they show they can bring in a good forward from another league it won’t matter what Cobra does. We better hope Ferreira and Pepi make good if we want a good forward. Unfortunately the moment they do they will move to Europe.

I'm encouraged by the way we finished the match, but I suspect it was as much Montreal imploding as it was Dallas rallying. Seems the three-goal comeback was the final straw that cost Remi Garde his job. He was fired midweek. Wilmer Cabrera, recently released by Houston, has been named as his replacement.
