@celito rumors are getting pretty specific now. ESPN reporting $112 plus Coutinho and Rakitic.

I would probably take that. Assuming Raki is worth maybe $40m, that would mean we are still getting $100m for Coutinho, essentially.

Or we are getting 50m for Coutinho and Neymar's value is 190m. :ROFLMAO:

That's too much of an offer IMO.

Coutinho is worth 0 to us unless Dembele gets another major injury in the near future. So we'd essentially be getting Neymar for 190m USD (not euro) plus 50mn to cover the salary difference.

Dembele is the one I don’t get . Maybe I don’t pay enough attention to him or maybe he doesn’t speak a lot , but I don’t get a sense that he wants to be at Barca or not . Reports are that he wouldn’t go to PSG ... which I’d imagine would be great fit for him . I have a strange feeling he’d be happy collecting checks and playing Fortnite. But I have no read on him.

Dembouz is definitely gone if Neymar returns. Even if he himself doesn't radiate ambition, given his skill set and age, NO WAY his handlers let him rot on the bench here as the 5th choice striker. And they shouldn't.

But isn't anyone concerned how Griezmann will react to being benched regularly? If Neymar comes, does anyone doubt that it'll be MSN all over again, regardless of Suarez's form?

Griezmann's been the focal point of a top tier European club for years now. Can't imagine he'll handle playing 4th fiddle very well. Even here.

No worries.. Valverde will simply play Griezman at RB .... he thinks outside the box

Yeah, overpaid for him by alot. Is Ousmane even better than €8 million man Jadan Sancho?

    Very embarrassing...

But Suarez simply can't play every match anymore, so still plenty of opportunity to play AG up front and give time to Arthur and Aleñá.

Madrid offering James and Bale ? At least we are offering starters :ROFLMAO:

So we have a 3 way chicken game.

    - Barca don't have the money, just mostly players PSG don't want or Barca don't want to get rid off.
    - Madrid may have money but no players PSG wants. And if they sign Neymar, he'd make double what Ramos makes breaking their salary structure. That's gonna go down well ....
    - And PSG have a ticking bomb on their hand.

Only way this works for Barca, as far as I can tell, is if it's on a loan with mandatory option to buy next season.

Starting to think that meeting was a theater. Who takes a trip and goes into a face to face meeting just to repeat the same message that's being circling around for a month. I think Barto is just trying to show Messi and Co that they are trying their hardest, but really know it's probably impossible to sign him. Unless PSG completely bends over.

If the deal was money + Coutinho + Rakitic I'd say brilliant , go for it. If it's a chunk of money + Dembele I'd say no way, don't do it, if Neymar goes to Real Madrid so be it.

Depends how much money though. That's why this is taking forever to get done. That and Rakitic's lack of enthusiasm in playing for a shit club like PSG.

Judging by tonight’s inept performance and our pathetic bench options we flamin we’ll NEED Neymar !!

Like I said, Griezmann was bought without giving a single thought as to how he was going to fit.

Or we need a real coach!

After seeing the team under EV for more than 2 years, I still don’t understand/know what his game plan is or how he wants his team to play. There is no clear pattern or movements on/off the ball which looks to have been coached/drilled.

So, not quite sure if bringing the snake back will help at all.

How does Coutinho going to Bayern equate to Neymar not coming here but going to Real Madrid ??

Coutinho was a key part of the transfer. He was interested in going and PSG wanted him. That's no longer possible. PSG dealing with Barca was tough enough as it was. Now I see no talks happening (if they ever were).
Neymar wants out of PSG, PSG want to get rid of Neymar. What other clubs have been mentioned besides Barca and LPB? None.
The odds of Ney staying at PSG are remote.
I believe he's off to Madrid.

If true, its just another bad business as usual, no way Bayern will pay 120 later. They'll spend that kind of money on someone better next season, Sane for example. Barça will end up selling Coutinho for what he's worth next year for 35-45 at best to some PL team. The amount of money Barca loses is beyond me.

so they sold Malcom , they are selling Coutinho ... they want to sell Dembele as well ... don't they want to have a replacement incase someone gets injured/suspended/etc ?!?!

Fair enough , although if Barca are serious on Neymar and Coutinho was an important part of their offer they wouldn’t jeopardise everything by loaning out Cout to Bayern..
