I see so many cutting passes that could be made ... but everybody keeps choosing for a safe back or side pass.

The team is becoming the embodiment of the manager, without character, lifeless, souless, playing dead eyed football with no passion or urgency.

Semedo really backed off Aduriz and gave him that space ...

    FT: 1-0.

Loss in Bilbao. At least that first loss is over with.

    Or Messi.

It's early to tell, but honestly, we bought Griezmann without thinking where he is going to play. It's what I am afraid of.

The best result we were going to get was a 0-0, we created nothing, we have a manager with a small club mentality and that is how we play football now. Teams like Man City and Liverpool would tear us to shreds.

Such a waste and so sad, we still win titles because of Messi and despite Valverde. How he has got to his 3rd season in charge at Barca is beyond comprehension. He should have been sacked immediately after the defeat to Liverpool. I'd love to see us go for the Ajax manager.

Dembele was so bad today it made me miss Coutinho.

To put it in perspective, Rafinha was MOTM today (besides MAtS). FdJ looked good though.

We might still win La liga at the end, but CL is a tough tough call with a manager that achieved historic second leg lost for 2 seasons in a row.

omg....I was led to believe his absence was a reason why we did not win a treble
