I haven't seen a solid source yet for that but I really hope it's true.

The feck, he's playing CM even for Castilla. I hope Ronaldo will use him better.

Started off well but a few misplaced passes, i dont think outside wing is his best position. Cant really get involved where he is most dangerous.

Why? Kubo will play for Casilla or Valladolid and Neymar in spring will be' injury prone as always.

Kubo will be better served if he moved to another first division club be it Valladolid or whoever.

Under Zidane this season he has no chance even to play few minutes or even make it to the bench as he is well down the pecking order.
Playing at a lower level in Castilla as he is too good to play there, will only delay his improvement.

I missed the 2nd half but what I see in the 1st was pathetic.
I don't know which is the real level of Segunda Divion B but for me the match seemed a kindergarten play with all the kids that play random kicking the ball and running like headless chicken.
Kubo was simply totally out of place: playing physical young football w/o any tactics is simply not for him. Put a Modric in his shoes and it would be the same thing.

Yes and there were a couple of late bad tackles on him in the second half. The announcer was bemoaning the aggressive tackles.

Excessive physical play is a common thing among all European second divisions (and lower) football.

Always worries me when he gets tackled like that, as he looks so fragile.

I remember how good Lee Chung Yong was at Bolton, then that horrific leg breaking tackle pretty much ended his upward rise and he was never the same.

Speaking about injuries which halted the career of Japanese players and they were never the same afterwards, one has to mention:

1- Miyachi’s injury during his time with Wigan Athletic.
    2- Ono’s injury in 2004.
    3- Inamoto’s injury in a 2004 friendly against England.

Kubo wasn't in the castilla game yesterday, and he hasn't been confirmed for the loan. Might he be in the roma squad tonight?

Since Real will lose and he would play 10 minutes against rocky italian defence, it's better for him.

Kubo wants to stay and impose himself in the first team.

Nice for him. Let's see if he will be a Miyaichi 2.0 or something never happened before.

Only makes sense if Madrid offloads both James and Bale. Even in this case, Vinicius and Rodrygo(may be) are still ahead of him in picking order.

Well, he may look at how Vinicius managed to get first team playing time after making some impressive display in the B team last year. But this was under Solari's management. After Zidane took charge, Vinicius was quickly sent to the bench.

There's rumor Jovic may be sent on loan although his lack of showcase in summer friendly matches was due to injury, not exactly his fault. And it's only after 2 months. If a (very good) striker who played first team in Bundesliga, scored 2x and is still not favored because of (imo) the coach's prejudice, I think Kubo's chance is not very likely.

However, if he still somehow plays some matches in first team this year, it's a tremendous breakthrough for a young player with only 1~2 million $ price tag.
Kubo seems to put himself on the edge to force his development faster. Determination and stubborn are in thin line here.
