I'll be watching the Texans game.

Watching live at home is brutal...not putting myself through this

New York's not a terrible team to watch, but watching them at Yankee Stadium is pretty blah. Hope they get a stadium figured.

Horrible small rectangular field in Yankee Stadium leads to a bad game.

If Wilmer would climb down from his Hubris he should create a practice field with the same dimensions in a cow pasture near HASP to acclimate the players before traveling up there :)

NYC is tough to figure out: play like a gem one week, trash another, and so average it hurts the third.

Hey anyone going to the game? My brother and I flew up to NYC to sightsee and watch the Dynamo at Yankee Stadium. What section is recommended?

Manotas on the bench tonight (which no doubt will fan the flame of rumors that he is on the way out) and I guess Elis is suspended. So, not a pretty lineup from an attacking standpoint. With Vera and Cabezas both starting, plan looks like it is probably play for a 0-0 or hope you can spring Quioto on a counter-attack.

Great job Quioto! Truly great!!! That's all you need to is get him mad and he'll take himself out of the game. Idiot!

Stupid play. A touch weak but just the act of throwing that forearm draws attention. But the Orange Kool Aid Brigade will complain about the refs.

Dude, I jumped up and said Red when I saw it. Me, a Dynamo fan! That has to be on the list for dumbest plays of the year. I can't believe anyone would say anything about the ref, ridiculous.

I never played soccer, but I was a linebacker in High School and in the Marines. Everytime I could, I baited the hell out of the offense. Hit them a bit late, harder than needed and of course the insults. Sometimes I could get a reaction and draw a flag, but the good teams seemed to ignore until a lineman would ear hole me. I played in the days before head to head contact was penalized.

Point is, if I'm a defender and I watch tape, I'm going to cheap shot 31 all day because I bet I can get him sent off.

Losing your head in soccer is so much worse though, in football its 15 yards and the sent off player is simply replaced. I'm mean surely these guys understand this simple concept by now. How embarrassing

There are 3 things certain in this life: death, taxes, and Adam Lundqvist not marking his man on the back post

Some shocking defending by the back line tonight. It was only a combo of Deric, poor finishing and luck that kept NYCFC from scoring a boatload. Felt like almost every cross was going to result in a goal.

It was a great feeling, screaming in joy after Manotas fires home what rightfully could be a match winner! Then with 10 minutes to go and playing a man down, cuz Ethos's favorite Dynamo player is dumber than dirt, our guys find a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory! Err!!!
    ********in' A Dynamo!

Oh and by the way on Quioto Coach, he is a hot head and takes to lashing out. Which draws the ire of any ref. Tonight's antics are what he does to cost his own teammates.
    Send him packing Jordan!

This game sort of showed all sides of the Dynamo - an early goal conceded, a nice play by McNamara to cross a ball to a Cabezas one-timer to tie it up, a terribly stupid play by Quioto, some nice saves by Deric, a great quick strike goal by Manotas, and then two late goals conceded due to sloppy defending and sort of stopping play waiting for a whistle (on the 2nd NYCFC goal)

Dynamo have an odd combination of some good to great MLS strikers combined with terrible defending and boneheaded plays

That is an amazingly horrific lack of emotional control by Quito. He will
I'm as Orange Kool Aid Brigade as it gets and I call it a red as soon as I saw it.

(I edited this post because I orginally said "kook" instead of kool. You guys would have thought the unedited version was better.)

Dynamo could have had 12 men on the field and they were still conceding two goals late. It is what they do.

Playing with 10 doesn't really hurt you at the end of a game with the lead. Other team has to chase. You sit back in an organized defense, put pressure on the ball in the final third, and make them work hard to hit crosses from the sidelines that are easily handled.

Have you ever seen the Dynamo do that??

Quito was stupid and hurt his team. But that last two goals were not his fault. Hell -- Dynamo could have had 13 players and they still would have forked up those points.

Idk the numbers but we must have a poor disciplinary record... key dudes getting reds on an already razor thin squad is just brutal

A sign of internal strife. Watch Wilmer get the "full confidence" comment sometime soon
