he is so smart at one point he had 3 players in front of him but he didn't tremble and waited for a chance to make a pass to modric
Zidane: "Our idea is for Kubo to play in Castilla and train with us. Like Vinicius and Rodrygo, we must take it slow with him too. We'll fix conceding so many. We'll decide on Lunin & see what he thinks too. We've played mostly a 4-4-2 that's a 4-4-1-1 with Isco/Eden free role."— M•A•J (@Ultra_Suristic) July 31, 2019 While he prefers his Vazquez...
He is so confident. Never so a Japanese player in his age having the same confidence and not get intimidated.
Sad but true. Well, he looks special,no doubt. This small movements, passes, rarely seen in a japanese player. Will he future against Salzburg And Roma?
hmm, but didnt zidane say before that he would wait until they get back to Madrid, and then decide what to do with him? strange Kubo couldnt have done anymore, hes had ten minutes each game to make impressions, which is very difficult, and he has made things happens. All he can do is impress at Castilla enough that he gets taken into the first team, but he is definitely becoming a fan favourite when you read around the internet. He has a big future, he just finds himself in a messed up RM right now with a boss desperate for results.
Wow and once again kubo tops the player ratings on Marca, thats the third time now I think, amazing, he has barely played the equivalent minutes of a full game yet! https://www.marca.com/en/football/real-madrid/2019/07/31/5d41db7522601d88178b4581.html Benzema got a Hattrick yet still finished second, I told you kubo is a fan favourite!
Even Miyaichi was a fan favorite. Believe me, Arsenal supporters rated him highly and asked to drop Walcott for him in his loan days before the fall. Anyway it didn't happen often, probably only Kagawa and the same Miyachi were the only istant fan favorite from the preseason. And exactly as Kagawa at United, the manager will choose his destiny. If Zidane will be RM manager for so long.
It won't be necessarily a bad thing for Kubo if Zidane is sacked, given his treatment of Odegaard, who never had his chance, despite some encouraging performances and making nearly 20 apperances with Norway at senior level, which is to say, he's not a kid anymore. His treatment of Reguilón and Ceballos doesn't inspire much confidence either. As for Vicinius, he only made his breakthroug thanks to Solari.
Eh, it's not much of an accomplishment. Benzema is arguably the most disliked/hated player among Madridistas who never fully appreciated him. He only finished 2nd place because of how bad other players were (bar Kubo). If anyone else scored an hattrick, that player would've been easily been No.1
This is really interesting https://www.marca.com/en/football/real-madrid/2019/08/01/5d4151a3268e3e55398b45d1.html
If Zidane doesn't rely on him... Takefusa Kubo's pre-season performances haven't gone unnoticed, as Real Madrid are flooded with loan offers for the Japanese midfielder, who is still likely to spend the season with Castilla. One of their main media outlets MARCA.com is REALLY shilling on Kubo. You'd think Kubo had personally paid them off the way they promote this guy. Going as far as to say Zidane is messing up on him not giving him minutes, and that playing in Castilla is a bad idea etc etc. Now these guys too; https://en.as.com/en/2019/08/01/opinion/1564676842_443093.html
Kubo will be fine. Apparently the plan is for him and Rodrygo to actually be registered to Juvenil A (youth) team, as that supposedly gets them exempted from non-EU player player limits when they are called up to La Liga matches, as a workaround until Valverde obtains Spanish citizenship.
Imo marca, newspaper's comments or twitter's comments mean f*ck all, what matters is how the coaches really manage this situation. Originally when the contract is signed Real already said they planned for Kubo to stay 1 year at Castilla, so all the talks about how the coaches are "stunned" by his quality are sweet talks for the media and should be taken with a lot of sands. (do they mean the scouts didn't report anything to them about the quality of the player they tried to sign, when they are under pressure to rebuild the team as fast as possible? Don't make me laugh) It's sound like a proper plan, much better than staying on the bench at first team or spending time at Castilla. Some diehard Japanese fans even spent their time to provide us some videos from Castilla's matches, and their football quality is honestly horrible. I don't think Kubo could learn anything playing in this team
He need only a full half time vs Salzburg or Roma. If he delivery then it's done, if not bye to the next year. But if Zidane doesn't give him time he will never know if he was right or wrong. Anyway Zizou stubborness with Bale is incomprehensible then he can do anything unpredictable.
