He is never to play again in a such low position.

    Agreed.
Also, I'm so disgusted at the "I told you so" folks who jump in at the slightest mistake Kubo does to prove their point or more like prove their already mindless hatred toward any non European or Latino player who plays for their favorite Euro club. The weird thing is that most of them are of Middle East background. So much jealousy, eh? ;)

In his first match imo he played low as well (missed the match, watched the HL).
It will be so bad if this season Zidane lose his luck and Kubo will experience a Moyes-Kagawesque season. From these friendlies it's a realistic scenario.

Bale will stay. And rumours (probably bs) talk about Mourinho instead of Zidane as the new manager.

Things are turning bad for Kubo or at least for his chances to hit the first team.

However I've read a rumor about an exchange Pogba-Bale.
It would be better for everyone.

I still doubt they will promote him to the first team squad.

As much as we all would love to see him in the first team, It has become so easy to forget he's just 18...

And he's in the biggest club of the world.
But I try to stay optimistic.

Bale is not included in that list.

His competitors for a starting spot are Rodrigo and Mariano?
The last seems nothing special, 25yo 3 goals in the last season, while the first is a wonderkid as Kubo if I'm right.

Let's see if this match will cost Zidane his bench.

Haha, calm down guys. :D Remember Usami trained with Bayern's first team during the pre-season too. Remember what happened to him after the start of the season. Regionalliga (4th tier) football.

Our hero Okazaki on Kubo : "Players like Kubo are everywhere in the world"

This is the reality we Japanese have to face. :(

Okazaki is probably right here, although I hope that Kubo really is someting special.

Real Madrid fans of the forum say good kubo for this match against Tottenham. apparently he made a great performance when he got back at 80 minutes. I didn't see the thin match!

Tomorrow another (easier?) match vs Fenerbahce.
I smell starting spot for Kubo this time since he played only 10 minutes but he will leave the pitch before the 90' so let's hope he will impress.

It's 2nd~3rd time Zidane used 442 formation this summer, and the 1st time Kubo is used on the left in an attacking position, very similar to how he played at fc Tokyo. It was just 10 minutes but he showed much more confidence going forward.

On the side note, watching this Madrid team in 442 formation, we could see Kroos and Modric were as poor as Shibasaki (+ Endo or whoever) in JNT team the last Asian cup (Minamino was supposed to be the third link in the midfield but he was much more effective playing close to the penalty area so basically it was 442 at times): finding it hard to balance attack and defense, physical exhausted. Madrid fans are crying out for Casemiro's return to form a 3 midfielders formation and I have to say it somewhat applies to current JNT team. Playing with 2 CMs demands too much physical-wise nowadays.

Kubo looks good. It'd be good if he gets a start and a solid 60min or so (given each game Zidane has made 11 substitutions per match) to get some momentum going.

It is clear Zidane isn’t rating him as much as Vinicius and Rodrygo.

This only makes pretty clear that he will not play in the first team.

Let’s hope he will get a move to another top division European club just like what happened to Hakimi last year, because he is too good to play for the Castilla.

Anytime he played, Kubo makes magic happen. He missed only to score but with his playtime it's normal.
Anyway I really hope he will miss a Miyaichi like season warming the bench for months to play 10 minutes in Copa del Rey.

    He's not brazilian and didn't cost 45 M€, it's very simple.
