Haha... notice how you avoided discussing Kroos extension even though his play didn't warrant it?

    Evade, dodge, evade, deflect...

    Anyways.

Reguilon is more a defensive option. Zidane wanted offensive FBs. Mendy has done well so why the hate?

Also Firpo has been injury prone. The irony is if we bought him instead you would attack him for some other reason.

Oh and just because Mendy just got injured doesn't mean he is prone to it. Miss me with that response.

Bringing up Kroos or Bale in every discussion is the mother of deflection.

If we kept Kroos, it's because Zidane wanted it. So pick your beef with him, not me. I don't like the squad, the team or the coaching. What are you even arguing against?

No it's getting you to accept what you run from.

Kroos has been shit and is an issue for this team. So it Bale.

Both players you wanted on this team yet your hypocrite ass want to complain about Reguilon in every fcuking thread.

You don't understand how symbolic that deal was. That's why. Zidane arrived and said it's time for change. But instead of change, we reinforced and doubled down on stagnation.

You don't understand how symbolic extending Kroos and Nacho was considering they were dogshit. You celebrated the Kroos extension so apparently you're okay with poor decisions as long as they benefit your favorites.

I celebrated the Kroos extension, and package deal of selling Llorente, Isco and Ceballos because the general idea was that we'd keep Kroos, open two squad spaces, and sign two to three fantastic players to have along with Kroos, not get rid of everybody else and have just Kroos, Modric, Isco and a kid from Japan as options.

That's the thing. Kroos is a great solution in a team with multiple different options at this point. We've had a shocking offseason in midfield.

We didn't sell Casemiro who is actually still one of the best at what he does so how does your analogy of Kroos plus two make sense?

The reality is Kroos extension only made sense of Kroos could be primeKroos. He apparently can't sustain this.

You bet on him to and lost. No differently than Zidane bet on those he bet on.

I looked at the stats. Last year Kroos had most key passes per game, most passes per game, most crosses per game, most long balls per game, highest pass completion rate, 4th best in tackles, gets disspossesed about once every 3 games etc.

If that's your shit player what is the rest of the team? Kroos playing as stable as ever. Team plays bad.

    Kroos had been trash.

Dude takes most corners, set pieces and doors the most passes to recycle possession. FOH with those empty meaningless stats... I'm sure he led the team in all that yesterday as well.

Wrong, I put him firmly in the “yet another young Spanish hyped up talent” box.

He’s more that than anything else and hasn’t played a single minute in any other league yet. Guy’s also a mental midget by the looks of it, let’s see how he prospers in Milan...

    I don't understand what people don't understand.
Zidane said its time for a change, but clearly not changing anything.
Zidane was always hard to adapt to a mid-game situation and is not one of there great tactic mind coaches.
he's a motivator and my guess mainly because of the respect his gains from being Zidane.
this is his team, and so far we've sold/loaned midfielders and bought none.
I have no idea what are we waiting for on that section. we need new blood.
counting on Casemiro (as much I think he's world class) to fix the midfield triangle is ignoring the real problems.

You know what's funny? Llorente would've been pretty useful yesterday when our team was playing like total shit. We need defensive midfield options and there is nobody on our radar that meets that criteria. I guess it's Casemiro or bust for us. Let's hope he stays healthy.

Valverde can play that position very well, Modric and Kroos are a bigger concern than the DM imo.

Valverde hasn't done anything to convince me that he can fill that role, but maybe Zizou sees something that I don't. Because we're really thin on cover for our DMF options.

    Seriously.

We are set at DM, we're just missing both due to the nonsense yearly messi invitationals.

Where we should fear is the other two midfield pots, the RW, Marcelo's form and CB due to Varane/Nacho.

Since when is Valverde a DM? He is typical box to box midfielder.

One of those spots will be filled by Pogba I have no doubt as for the other that’s a 30/70.

For Uruguay he plays as a DM, he is the reason Zidane had no problem letting Llorente go, although personally I don’t agree with that decision.
Strongest aspect of Fede’s aside from his shooting are his tackling and interceptions.

He's like Casemiro before switching to DM. Maybe not a DM in the classical meaning but he offers steel in midfield and that's good enough vs some more physical teams.
