I don't think that when Acosta made this crap-ass deal he did it on his own, he was getting pressure from a wide variety of moneyed people that stood to be exposed.

Epstein's background is interesting. Never graduated from college, rocketed to partner at Bear Stearns and then canned all within a short five years. Started a hedge fund only for billionaires. Yet, folks on Wall Street could never point out anything that he ever traded. I think he may have been pimping from an early age along with his big head and good looks moved him along at Bear Stearns. Then Wall Street folks think he was running a type of blackmail operation where he was getting money from the rich and just sticking it in index funds for them and taking a decent percentage. Could be that this is where any "pee tapes" may have come from. All speculation of course, but this is a weird dude.
