He’s done just fine this entire cup. I’d play Adams against Mexico too. He’s injured right?

I’d actually agree the Lovitz sub and a more direct approach did help get us more chances, but they haven’t all been quality and you would think having Altidore there would be beneficial.

We’ve lost a completely winnable game where we played well for a half because our coach can’t make adjustments

Sure there are a lot of us. I have scored in every Gold Cup in which I have appeared.

This is one of those that I feel could have gone in a different direction with different subs. Frustrating

I was thinking if it wasn't at least 5 minutes we were getting robbed.

And then there was that uncalled foul just outside the box at the very end.

You and I must have different definitions of fine. And yeah, Adams is hurt but even when healthy he would be playing fullback. Which is a whole different set of problems.

He’s just not capable against good opposition any more and should absolutely not be immune to being subbed like he appears to be.

Nah....I say Pulisic, Adams, and McKennie retired until Bradley, 3G, and most of the team is ********ing out of the picture.

Two straight heart aches for Pulisic. I feel for this kid.

Well, f*ck. Good game. Mexico deserved winners for their play in the second half. There was a definite handball in the final seconds that should have been called for a direct free kick from 23 yards.

Lovitz for Ream late in a final match in which we're down by a goal is a firing offense. Get him out now. We need not waste an entire cycle on a manager who is unequal to the task.

Three subs, all three of them "like for likes" when what we needed was an adjustment to match the Pizarro-to-the-right adjustment that Tata made at the half.

We dumped Bradley after losing the final of a Gold Cup for a lot less.

Even rah-rah Stu Holden was at a loss for words. Everyone knows this is a travesty...

The better team won. Berhalter didnt adjust to 2nd half change in tactic & formation. All else is on the players!

Which is why I called out the tactics to begin with, the coach himself. I’m all for an Adams, McKennie, CP CM.

any corner kick is an good chance and they had 2 really great chances around minute 86. Also the USA really played well after the goal, moving forward and getting some play to equalize

Jozy is our best striker but can't go 90 mins. Fitness and injuries. Bradley is done. Time to move on.

I'd prefer to move on from this coach but that won't happen. Given the time it took, his brother's position in the fed, and making the final he'll stay.

Given the lack of ready young talent and injuries the USSF higher ups are probably pleased.
