A pity that Brazil's perfect defensive record was spoiled by a wrongly granted PK to the opponents. Meanwhile that sore loser Lionel Messi complains of referee bias favoring Brazil. I guess this PK wouldn't have happened if Messi were right.

Coutinho... great speed but shouldn't have shot. Probably not as easy to see the tackler coming in as it was on TV. Had he seen it he probably would've "cavado" a foul out of it.

Coutinho just a little off. Better vision or decision would have made more out of this latest counter too.

Make that 3 Coutinho plays that should have been better.

Firmino should of killed this game already. I might consider subbing him off for Richarlison.

What's with Coutinho?!?! Atleast 3 times now he shoots instead of the "better" pass!

It was just like Rio'16 when we didn't give up a goal until the Final vs Germany

    Too naive by Gabriel Jesus.

Clearly rigged in our favor though...

Is that not the same foul that got Jesus a yellow on Casemiro

Oh boy... If Jesus got a yellow for his "bump", may as well be "fair" in handing over that pk for a "bump" too

Excellent hustle by Everton. I didn't really think it was a PK but the defender definitely ignored the ball.

Everton was never getting that ball though so the defender should not have done that.

    3x1 most rigged win ever...

Too many people are quick to see "shoulder to shoulder" and take it literally to mean you can do anything if it's shoulder to shoulder. Either that or they though Everton not being able to reach it (the ball was basically with Galese when he got hit) is enough to make it incidental contact.

But I think the ref made it pretty clear with his quick VAR check that the intentional nature of going for the man and ignoring the ball (as opposed to protecting the ball) is what did it.

I don't think it's an easy PK to call, frankly.

I'm not going to hate on the ref overall, though he clearly came in determined to not look like he was favoring Brazil. He was consistent and solid, he just started from a point where things were going to be tough for us.
