I’m glad Tata is seeing his choice of players fail. This will force him to weed out the ones that failed. For the love of god, he needs to stop calling MLS based players.

El mejor mexicano juega ahi. Antuna is just limited he could play in mls or liga mx or wherever and I doubt that would change. A player's quality is not determined by the league they play in

I haven't been happy with the roster either but there's only so much he can do when half the team either doesn't wanna come or is out due to medical reasons.

el Vela de 31 años que ya dijo varias veces que esta retirado de la seleccion para poder vivir agusto con su familia? When he played in the WC Vela had only played in MLS for like a month, the Dos Santos brothers are the perfect examples of what playing in MLS does to you as a professional player.

Vela is a different player. Don't judge anyone elses performance as an indication how someone will do

Vela is a player retired from the national team, it is pointless to bring his name if he already hanged the boots and is only sleepwalking in MLS to get his retirement fund.

I've never heard him say he's retired. he says a lot of stuff but show me when he says he's retired. and hes 30 which is not old...

The Dos Santos are not good examples at all. First of all I remember most anti MLS people on this forum saying how easy mls was going to be for him:ROFLMAO:. secondly he's never been on Vela's level, not close either. Y sumale que les Encanta la fiesta. Y por supuesto q no me gusta ver mexicanos del nivel de vela en la mls pero eso no quita la calidad que tiene

He has said several times that he doesn't want to get called up anymore because he'd be too old for the World Cup, is time for the new generation to play and that he wants to focus on enjoying his family. Obviously he can't outright say he is retired because his DP status in MLS is entirely dependent on him being a "mexican international player"

Gio was dominating MLS during his first season and Jona is often called one of the best if not the best CM in MLS and is part of their ridiculous All Star squad and still he has done nothing but sucking ass for Mexico since he moved there specially in his cameos during last WC that made everyone miss 300 year old Rafa Marquez.

The point is that you can't assume someone will do bad because someone else is doing bad. Gio is not Vela and Jona is not Vela.
