Too many goals to keep up with. Hope the competition in the next match is better. 42’ Goal! Geraghty breaks loose off a ball from Kornieck and beats the keeper one-on-one6-0#AllezLesBuffs 🇫🇷— Colorado Buffaloes Soccer (@CUBuffsSoccer) June 10, 2019
This happened to the basketball women in Italy a couple of years ago, the first two games against Italian club teams were very one-sided, so for the last game the teams combined rosters then split into two combined teams and had a good game.
Looking at the picture of the two starting lineups, you could kind of see this coming. The Buffs were quite a bit taller and it certainly looked like would also be faster. So how do you hold a score down? I don't want to see us run up a score against a host team in another country, but when we play substitutes, the talent level doesn't drop much.
Full time 11-0 Not gonna lie, not much too learn from this. Opposition was a third division out of season team. Clearly unfit and with 11 players only when the game started. Subs arrived during the first half, after work probably.
When I was 11 or 12, I was on a recreational league basketball team. We weren't very good (I started, so that's how bad we were) and we had a game against what we knew was the best team. I scored half of our points and we lost 96-4. I've never forgotten that, and I am always uncomfortable when a score gets very one-sided. I'm almost glad that I wasn't there. No I'm not. It sucks that I didn't get over there, but I am in the middle of my move from Boulder to Grand Junction, which also sucks but that's another story.

I don't think so, but I am not familiar enough with the Buffs players besides a couple to be sure. One player was on crutches.

Add Northern Colorado to the schedule, Thursday Sept 19, 3:30PM at Prentup. We are the only Colorado team they are playing, so it would seem that the Colorado Cup is done and gone.

Northern Colorado are most likely the second best program in the region at this time - so this is a good match for the Buffs. Too bad they can't figure out how to keep DU on the schedule which would draw a lot more interest than Austin Peay State.
Looking at this thread, did the tax payers fund this vacation to blowout inferior opposition or did they fund raise? If I was an department supervisor, I would not be happy seeing those scorelines if this came from budget. Watching French team play, some reasonable teams must have been available.
Nope, the League finished in early may, so Tier 1&2 players were all on holidays before pre-season restarts. So the only available teams were tier 3 and below with amateur players who have a 9-5 job...
Any video on player celebrations after goals 7, 8, 9, 10....heard somewhere that was a controversy for American teams in France this summer!
