There are numerous example where you have the so called best players in the world losing to a "lesser" opponent.

With our complete A team, I honestly don’t even think we need him anymore. But as long as he wants to play, I don’t think any coach would be ballsy enough to not respect his trajectory and call him up.

 

another thing, today Jonathan should have completely lost his spot to Charly Rodriguez, I think he was easily the worst player on the field next to Reyes

That mistake by Araujo was emblematic of every single time Mexico has choked against CONCACAF opposition. Thankfully, they recapacitated quickly.

Lets hope that Antuna is more of a real player than Damm ever was. Antuna may not be a starter level player but I definitely can see him being a useful depth piece.

Haven't seen the guy play but I'm getting the impression that Antuna is crafty. One of those guys you're not sure how they do it.

 

the issue is if he leaves to Europe or stays in MLS, if he goes back to find another loan abroad he could learn there and become a decent player but if he stays in MLS he'd be just another mediocre player just like Damm, sadly it seems Te Kloese is desperate to sign him permanently and with all the hype from the media the kid will most likely accept the offer.

Chaka tiene mas llegada so I think Tata still prefers him over Navarro seeing as that fits his attacking style. Despite his screw up today, Araujo is still better than Salcedo IMO. Don’t even mention Reyes. Although I have a feeling Tata prefers Salcedo. The one thing I think separates Araujo and Salcedo is Araujo’s ability to send long balls/passes. Which Salcedo is not the best at. I would also say Araujo has more of a presence in the air. Regardless, we have 3 very solid CB’s in Moreno and the two of them. Think every spot is pretty undebatable.

They were playing with 10. Chaka was injured so antuna had to play as rb while Chaka stayed motionless on top.

 

I try not to jump into conclusions or judgement on players until I see them play higher tier teams, for now its jjust Cuba and Canada not much to judge from those 2 games. I expect us to win this cup and the real test will be confeds
