I must admit, this was a soft foul and we are lucky to avoid a goal there. But the contact was there. This is how this tournament has gone.

Congrats to Ukraine! A talented team that knows their strengths and weaknesses and play to their strengths, and cover their weaknesses. Disciplined and well-coached team.

I am pulling for them to win it all.

I am so glad that Italy is out, I do not like their tactics.

Ukraine proving once again that attack wins you games but defense wins you tournaments.

South Korea and Ecuador are playing each other tight. Campana just rattled the crossbar. Certainly has the title of best striker not to score any goals at the tournament.

South Korea scores as I was typing.

Korea is already diving at every opportunity. This will be an ugly second half.

South Korea wins 1-0, holding on against multiple chances at the death. A goal was ruled offsides in the final minute that in my opinion was clearly on. I feel like Ecuador was robbed.

Thus spoiling a guaranteed "Well, at least we lost to the winner" exit for U.S. fans. Go, Ukraine!

Interesting to see Korea move so far. Clearly they’ve got a lot going on in terms of development

That should have been us in the final. We held our own in the group stages against Ukraine...
