CR7 didn't even play in the NL until the semi. Shows how much he cared.

And many that were aware of it believe that Portugal automatically qualified for Euro 2020 by winning it. (They didn't. They still must go through qualifying and got off to a rough start back in March.)

Seems like the one who cannot let this go is you. Something with a pot and a kettle. Are you done yet? *Calls people out needlessly for acting oversmart* *Is shocked when he gets a less than friendly response*. You started with the insult. Don't dish it out if you can't take it. Once more, kick rocks and let the adults do the talking.

I feel bad for whoever thinks UEFA Nations League is a tournament worth mentioning. If we're gonna give credit for other tournaments then give Messi full credit for winning the Olympics. It's actually a more prestigious tournament. Nations League is a bunch of friendlies.

I believe nobody knows Maradona actually won Artemio Franchi cup back in 1993 with Argentina . Its actually Argentina latest international thropy (till now) , but people will always mentioned Copa 1993 as their last thropy cause we all know nobody cares about Artemio Franchi.

I have a real issue with people posting this and thinking it somehow has any relevancy in terms of a comparison with the other two in the picture. Mbappe plays in a super team that dominates a farm league. What is the true value of the amount of goals he has scored at his current age? Plus, correct me if I'm wrong here, but Mbappe has been shifted to a striker position much earlier and more often than Messi has at that age. Regardless, it's a ridiculous stat to somehow use as an argument to compare him with Messi and Ronaldo, who both were in top leagues at that age.

Before some people start losing their minds, I'm not saying Mbappe isn't a potential generational player or that he's a bad player, on the contrary. My contention is that people trying to compare him with Messi and Ronaldo at this stage of his career are somewhat opportunist and ignorant. We'll see how he fairs once he has the cojones to go to a proper league. If he continues scoring at this pace and being decisive then, and only then, will he earn the right to be compared to the likes of Messi and Ronaldo.

You simply shouldnt take this kind of crap seriously. People has been comparing rising stars to legendary players every few years. Its like "new Maradona" or "new Pele" shit that has been going for decades. Now the only difference would be these modern players are being compared to Messi and CR instead.

Messi and CR are the only two players that has 100+ goals at CL. People can start comparing Mbappe to Messi and CR after he continue to play at highest level for the next 12 years.

Player can become a hero to zero in matter of few years (Gotze).... behind Messi, there are tons of other legendary players that are head and shoulders better than Mbappe. These people act as if players like original Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Van Basten, Cryuff, Stefano, Gerd Muller, Batistuta, Baggio, Zidane, Platini, Cantona , Henry etc never existed. They just skip every great players and went straight to compare new star to Messi and CR.

I highly doubt it. The NL was a pretty big success by most accounts. The final being boring doesn't change the overall picture much.

Anyone that signs Bale will have one of the very best players in the world on their hands, he is on par with anyone currently at Madrid and that includes Hazard.

The fact that it hasn't quite worked out for him at Madrid has nothing to do with his ability but more so due to rotten circumstances.

What are you ? His agent ? :ROFLMAO:

Bale is very injury prone . And now he lost some of his pace which was his main asset . Nobody with a sane mind will take a risk on him ... not for the price tag and not for his wage . He has to take a pay cut unless he goes to China .

Bale didn’t exactly not work out . Had some good seasons and was crucial in two CL finals .
