Lautaro have played the double since febreaury than icardi. And Lautaro performance as starter have been great.

Most dumb a poster that say that Icardi should be called when he only have scored 3 goals in 2019. and 13 matches.

Lautaro scored in the last frienly that he have with argentina. and have scored more than icardi in argentina.

I imagine all you excited with a colombian guy with 21 years with lautaros numbers......

The Maxi thing is water under* the bridge, nobody on the team really cares about that. Now, if you said, they don’t like him because of his loud mouth wife then, I’d say, you have a case. But Icardi has been shit for about six months now. The same could be said about Dybala but Dybala got a call and for some reason he’s listed as a midfielder which I have to laugh.

Icardi should’ve been at the World Cup last year. He was a killer last season. This season? Dude has too many issues on and off the pitch. I’m a supporter of the guy and think he is a killer when he is in the box but he was just off this season. Maybe, if he gets shit together and have a good campaign next season then he can make the team.

Dybala, he regressed immensely this season. Allegri is a pragmatic coach who has to desire of playing attacking football. The addition of Cristiano has not helped his cause either. But I think he’s being taken think since he’s an Adidas player and after Messi he’s the face of Adidas, at least when it comes to our player. He’s got a massive following on social media, way more than somebody like Kun, who is far more accomplished. I think he’s getting taken so he can help sell additional shirts. He’s dating a Sabatini and hangs out with Maluma.

I doubt he gets any real minutes, I expect Lautaro to get more if we’re being honest. Dybala occupies similar spots with Messi, unless he plays up front and does not wander around as he did earlier in his career he’ll get a look.

Well, our maluma friend have had really good performance recently (juanfer) :ROFLMAO:

Yeah i agree that icardi shouldnt go....Lautaro should be the starter along messi and maybe di paul ................for me dybala for talent should be always.....

Matias Suarez isnt pure starter in river so for me is weiird his called up......

For me argentina still have very good roster and team.......

    Rewatched the replay on telemundo

This team could have won by 5 easy. It needs to be more ruthless like the senior level

Glad we scored 2 and kept trying to score more. Previous teams were happy with the 1-0

    Changing gears a bit...
...the Argentina -Colombia match is the hottest ticket of the Copa America and is the only non-Brasil match to be totally sold out. Not too surprising since it is one of the best games of the Group stage between two very good teams with very good traveling fan bases.

The funny thing is Brasil has only sold out one of their Home group games and they are the host. :ROFLMAO:
I think the locals are waiting for the last second to buy tickets and just don't care about their opponents much. Also After hosting a World Cup and Olympics they may be a bit bored with a Copa America. They may have appreciated it more without hosting so many things recently. Only half the tickets available for all the matches in all of the Groups have been sold which is a bit disappointing.

You know I wonder if our current coach and help us out of this mental issue that we have; nothing irritates me then seeing us play like San Marino each time we play against Argentina and Brazil despite how well we can play against strong european teams.

I think you are referring to another post but I agree with you.
Queiroz may not be the best tactician out there but he is known to get a group together and help them believe they can win. Hopefully he can help our mentality and psyche when we face big teams too. We will find out soon enough if he can.

I don’t think we are weak mentally. Our guys play in big clubs and fight for shit.

Is it weak mentally that our coach not Colombian at the time went out to defend against Brazil in 2014 and experimented by putting Guarin out? Or using 3 DMs against England. He put Uribe out for 10 minutes and we tied and almost won. That’s his fault not ours.

Many teams have done more with less then we currently have. We do need more ambitious players like James. When he won 3rd place at copa america he wouldn’t wear the medal because he wanted gold.

But when the fans and the management are happy with making it out of group stage only then def less pressure on a team

Last copa America started off strong against US and Paraguay then begging for the game to be over. That could be the team has shit stamina. Too over confident or badly managed.

I think we lack a killer instinct more then a shot mentality. We can be up 2-0 and think it’s over. We stop attacking. While other teams aren’t afraid to go 5-0, 7-1 on teams

I do not think we are weak mentally against most teams. Just seems like we give too much respect to teams like Brasil and Argentina and seem t tremble every time they posses the ball.

You keep on repeating the same hot takes and malarkey that no one really believes except for you and maybe a couple people who try to see your side of the story.

If it's true, the quality of the debate goes down a lot because of his posts. The problem is not what he thinks is how badly he base his points. Most of his arguments are fallacies. I don't know if it's because it's ill-intentioned or simply because it has a training problem and lacks any logic. In any case if crzd really likes to come here, he should publish less.

Mr brain, colombia only have defeated in history two times brasil in official matches.

And one time was with this current team in 2015

Not alwats that you lose is because pf mentality sometimes have midfielders of boca america de mexico, levante, espanyol ismt enough to win pver all teams

Just a heads up, our list will be announced today at a press conference at 4PM Colombian time, 5PM EST.

Not really expecting any surprises but you just never know.
