You realize Milan are level with us on points and have H2H tiebreaker over Us and Atalanta right? Their schedule is favorable, but their form has been shaky. And Atalanta need to drop 4 points for us to pass, and 3 for Milan to pass them. A tie and a loss from these next 3 games get it done, but yeah, math is hard for some people I guess.
