Tyrants worry less about armed citizens offing them and more about members of their armed forces doing the task. They have presidential guards to prevent this but this doesn't prevent one of these guardians from taking a shot at him.
Matt in the hat comes pretty close. This was in response to your post. I would not cheer. I would not be sad about it, but I would not cheer. I really don't give a crap about Kim Jong Un. Also, there is a huge (yuge) difference between an actual dictator in an actual authoritarian state such as Kim Jong Un/North Korea and a wannabe in a democracy like Donald J. Trump/United States of America.
I recall a university history professor indicating that all that was needed was a trigger, and it could have been just about anything. And another reason was Russia's desire to be more like Western Europe (man, they loved them some French). There was also the threat of the Muslims invading Christian land.
As a narcissist, Trump’s worst nightmare is being exposed as unworthy of admiration. His entire adult life has been an act to convince people he is someone his father would have loved. This story is his worst outing: he’s a lifelong loser who failed at daddy’s business.8/8— The Hoarse Whisperer (@TheRealHoarse) May 8, 2019 He couldn’t hack it in the casino business so he started the only thing more profitable: a cult.— Salix Resists (@Master_Salix) May 7, 2019 Maybe I’m crazy, but I think it’s both. https://t.co/eiM4g6Ukp5— Dana Houle (@DanaHoule) May 8, 2019 1125933287535521793 is not a valid tweet id
I guess that’s not implausible, that you used the word “tyranny” in a context where many of us would think of Booth and Lincoln, but didn’t mean anything by it. But then there’s your history....
I'll agree that it's less than good and should only be reserved for the most extreme circumstances, those of which we are not even close to today.
Stop invoking race in your posts. Join the good guys and I won't have to find out who you really are.
Donald Trump is:1) "a billionaire" but you can't see his taxes2) "a genius" but you can't see his grades3) "exonerated" but you can't see the report. It's no wonder people point and laugh at right-wingers. 😂— Alex Cole (@acnewsitics) March 29, 2019
Several have stated in the past they think the military will follow the President. My "y'all" was directed at you all who have indicated that the military will follow the current President if marshall law is called for. The casual use of the language, as indicated by ElJefe, is problematic and really should not defensible. Me. And others. I never cheer if somebody is assassinated, no matter if they are loathed or not.
Between McConnell and Trump, we may have already passed that point. We'll find out when/if the Supreme Court starts weighing in.
smh...I know this, yet my fingers did their own thing. But I'll do what everybody else does and blame in on autocorrect, even though I on a PC.
How did we miss this? Trump just invoked executive privilege over the Dem demands for the Mueller report and underlying evidence pic.twitter.com/Cic0xMCqEV— Manu Raju (@mkraju) May 8, 2019 Let Marquitos explain it to you: Great statement by Marco Rubio. pic.twitter.com/F9CYk6P2ul— Bill Kristol (@BillKristol) May 8, 2019
Lock him up! Lock him up! Lock him up! Lock him up! Let’s start getting this trending #LockMnuchinUp , y’all we can do this as to piss Mnuchin off, he’s nothing but a crook anyway!! pic.twitter.com/yeD8aB7Gn5— Angela T. Coleman (@angelatcoleman) May 7, 2019
Vaccines=sorcery Make the case for your sorcery to consumers on your own dime. Like every other business. Quit using the heavy hand of government to make your business profitable through mandates and immunity. It’s disgusting.— Jonathan Stickland (@RepStickland) May 7, 2019
And "science" = sorcery. From Wikipedia's page on him: "Mr. Stickland believes vaccines are dangerous, and that his personal belief in God will protect his children from communicable infectious diseases."
