The article spoke of former US attorneys so that is a pretty indeterminate number.

Nixon was not smart, he was maybe the dumbest President up to then except for maybe Monroe. He was that kid in your class who swotted so hard he memorized the whole text-- but didn't understand any of it. Got his A by quoting it, not parsing it.

It is worth finding a copy of the tape transcripts and reading them to see just how far behind the West Wing staff he was-- over and over again he jumps into a conversation and there's an embarrassed pause, and often the collective conclusion is to just ignore him. And these were the guys Deep Throat quite accurately characterized as "not very smart."

Well, we did enact auto voter registration when registering with a government program (DL, state ID, state benefits, etc). Still need that voter ID law overturned.

But, there are two things to consider:
1 - the data shows that without those obstacles, POC turnout still would not have been enough in 2016
2 - the swing away from Walker and towards Evers were not due to POC.

So, while I want more POC voting, the data in this state currently does not suggest that greater numbers of POC are having an effect. That said, for 2020, it is a Presidential election and not a midterm, and it is for Individual One to be voted out of office.

Glorious purity of fruit here with black currants, blueberries, dark chocolate, fresh herbs and forest floor. Hints of mint too, plus hazelnut and chocolate. Full body with seamless tannins and balance. Tight and compacted tannins with beautiful fruit and great length. Goes on for minutes. One of the best Opus' in years. Hard not to drink now but better in 2018.

Rich, powerful and seductive, the 2012 Opus One blossoms in the glass with superb textural richness and volume. Dark red and black fruit, smoke, cedar, new leather and tobacco all meld together as the 2012 shows off its personality. Fine, silky tannins support the huge, creamy finish. The 2012 has just been bottled, but it is superb. I expect the 2012 will offer a long and broad drinking window of pure pleasure.

Deep red-ruby. Highly perfumed aromas of blackcurrant, violet, coffee, graphite, menthol and leather. Sappy, classically dry and penetrating, showing excellent intensity to the flavors of black fruits, coffee bean, spices and bitter chocolate. Boasts lovely grain and density but this is currently quite firm-edged, finishing with a cool herbal note and serious tannic spine.

    Wine Spectator Review
    Rated 93
A Pauillac-like expression from Napa Valley, this features smoky, toasty oak from the get-go, framing the intense flavors of earth, crushed rock and gravelly dried dark berry. The dense core of fruit pushes through a front of rustic graphite and loamy earth. Finishes with a long, layered aftertaste. Cabernet Sauvignon. Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Merlot and Malbec. Drink now through 2028.

    Wine Tasting Notes
The wine effuses dark fruit aromas accentuated by subtler notes of forest-floor and graphite. The wine's round mouthfeel and satiny tannins wrap around classic flavors of cassis, blackberry and black cherry. This refined and age-worthy wine offers lively acidity and a sturdy structure with a long lingering finish.

Y'know the name of this thread is "Mueller Indictment Thread" but I'm beginning to think that is more likely to happen than a Trump indictment! :(

Forest floor, huh? Guess you'd have to drink a couple of bottles and chow down on some shrooms to really know what the forest floor tastes like.

That first cup is all about the currants, blueberries and chocolate. But after the third bottle, you get the full taste of the forest floor.

And they don't even rake the forest, like they do in Finland.

At that price, the ratings need to be in the high triple digits, if not higher.

Something from the 1920s. Law says "shall" be released when requested. So we'll see what rationale the Most Transparent President Ever comes up with. "I don't wanna" is the leading contender.
