I meannnn pivoting from "black" to "of African descent" is moving the goalposts. All the players serengeti mentioned are black in their home countries.

Doesn't really change the facts that Real and Barca don't sign that many black players, but still

Maybe, but the discussion was about Real and Pogba.

Want to see them move the goalposts even more?

Varane is French. Pogba is French.

But I'm sure they will say Pogba is blacker so Varane doesn't count.

    Dumb discussion.

I like how you gleeflully miss the amount of black players I mentioned who played for Madrid and name fewer than me.

Yes I'm concious of the few Africans and many South Am players but as SL said they're black in their countries. I deliberately kept out Danilo, Casemiro, Ronaldo and the likes to make the argument intresting. Your suggestive post was about board members not wanting black skinned players with a Madrid Jersey which is false. There's no pattern.

Also more Black Africans have played for Madrid than Arab Africans.

I'm not saying they're as plentiful as other clubs. But Madrid don't back out on players because they're racist. They've been linked to Alaba, Mbappe and many others over the years but it hasn't worked out.

I suppose now Juventus is racist because they only have Matuidi and Moise Kean there while the whole team is white ey. #MebesajidLogic

Excluding black players from South America and African players of “Arab” descent ) what world class black players should have Real Madrid signed ?

I’m not qualified to opine on who is black in South American countries and who isn’t, so I won’t. Not am I qualified to opine on whether Madrid have the same standards for South Americans.

Second, it’s really silly to refer to players that Madrid were allegedly linked with, because there’s no guarantee those links are real. It’s equally possible someone made those links up. Madrid have effectively unlimited resources and can get almost anyone they want.

I can only describe what Madrid haven’t done, and it’s rather clear that they haven’t signed players of African descent, and I did so to suggest that they’re unlikely to sign Pogba. I make no aspersions as to Madrid’s motives: I don’t know them. I only see their behavior. Sorry that pointing out Madrid’s behavior makes you angry.

This is a rather silly question given that Barcelona signed more black players from Arsenal alone than Real Madrid signed in total over the last twelve years.

Don't know if they're racist as a club. But some of their players seem to have a ridiculous perspective on such issues.

Hey Aaron, there's still time??? We can mend fences, right?

Italy is a garbage third world country whose only contribution to the world is a racist explorer who went the wrong way and pizza.

If I were another black player in Italy, I wouldn't be shy of stating how much of a f**king idiot Bonucci is and, the next time he goes one-on-one with him, he's gonna break his leg.

We've entered a discussion loop which can only be solved when Charlie comes back and releases his power ranking of most racist countries

They won two league titles and a treble with Henry, so it worked out fine for them.

Don’t know what they were thinking with Song except that it was a delayed payment for the insultingly low fee for Fabregas.

Still the only European state to have a black man from what was essentially a colony as head of state. Of course they killed him, but at that stage of the empire not killing him would have been the racist act.

    1) I never said every Italian is racist.
    2) I said Italy is a shit hole, 3rd world country. I never called the country racist.
    3) Italian is not a race. It is a nationality.
    4) Please do better.

An Avg Song and an aged Henry? Before you ask why ain't they signing, maybe consider they weren't good enough. The more I think of it Song was a bizarre signing. Anyway, allow me to use proxies and say Madrid signed Lassana Diarra from Pompey but before he was at Arsenal. Same for the Adebayor loan. That's 2 vs 2. Thus just shows your bringing out of points as weak and relying on a punchline which wasn't as clever as it sounded in your head.

Anyway we have digressed into this topic further than we should have. It's the agree to disagree bit time. Closed.
