Yep And that's really the issue with all this. Many ordinary people are in denial about how bad it is, and keep making excuses for it.
Stephen Moore is a dead beat dad. Who would have thought? Trump’s Fed pick Stephen Moore was held in contempt of court over $300K alimony and child support debt: report. https://www.rawstory.com/2019/03/heres-argue-gun-nut-thinks-needs-1300-assault-weapon/
Thinking about the list of things wrong with Moore for just a second made my head hurt. ******** him.
Or my grandfather who had two boats shot out from under him in the Pacific - one he was the only survivor. The only thing he talked about was the dog that went missing on one of the islands they were hopping.
Shocker... http://nymag.com/intelligencer/2019...otumahsuu6FKIFKdaDq7emteks4z1pQB-7td0dyaSoqyE Whether it’s a business contract, a bilateral treaty, or a matrimonial bond, President Trump has proven that he has trouble staying within the confines of an arrangement between two parties. According to a new book by sportswriter Rick Reilly, Trump’s impulse to cheat also applies to the golf course. In Commander in Cheat: How Golf Explains Trump, Reilly claims that Trump “cheats at the highest level. He cheats when people are watching and he cheats when they aren’t. He cheats whether you like it or not. He cheats because that’s how he plays golf … if you’re playing golf with him, he’s going to cheat.”
He kicked Tirico's 2nd shot on a par 5 that landed on the green into a greenside bunker. I would've shoved his putter up his ass for that.
Moar winning!!!! The U.S. might run out of avocados in three weeks if Donald Trump follows through on his threat to close the border with Mexico, but the U.S. auto industry could shut down even more quickly—within a week, according to one expert, because basically every car made in the U.S. includes parts made in Mexico. “You can't sell cars with missing pieces,” the Center for Automotive Research’s Kristin Dziczek told CNN. “You've got to have them all. I see the whole industry shutdown within a week of a border closing.” Some of the imported pieces are installed at the beginning of the production process, so, for instance, “You can't build the whole car and slap the wire harness in later. This is a big critical part that shuts down the assembly line if you don't have it.” That means that workers in auto assembly plants would be out of work, and workers in U.S. car parts plants would follow, since with assembly plants shut down, parts plants would be idled, too. We’re talking about an economic catastrophe for as many as a million workers, with a ripple effect throughout their communities. https://www.cnn.com/2019/04/02/business/border-closing-us-auto-industry-shutdown/index.html https://www.dailykos.com/stories/20...ump-follows-through-on-threat-to-close-border
Can't think of many things worse than having to play 18 holes with this guy. Below would probably be me by the 3rd hole.
I'd like to see what happened if we closed the border and asked poor whites natives to cover for immigrants for a couple of days. Mostly because I have an anarchic sense of humor and I treasure watching the world burn. I don't think this country would make it through the week if we were forced to depend on rural whites, the laziest, stupidest, and most entitled population on earth.
WTF?!! https://www.thedailybeast.com/homeland-security-disbands-domestic-terror-intelligence-unit The Department of Homeland Security has disbanded a group of intelligence analysts who focused on domestic terrorism, The Daily Beast has learned. Numerous current and former DHS officials say they find the development concerning, as the threat of homegrown terrorism—including white supremacist terrorism—is growing. In the wake of this move, officials said the number of analytic reports produced by DHS about domestic terrorism, including the threat from white supremacists, has dropped significantly. People in and close to the department said this has generated significant concern at headquarters. “It’s especially problematic given the growth in right-wing extremism and domestic terrorism we are seeing in the U.S. and abroad,” one former intelligence official told The Daily Beast. The group in question was a branch of analysts in DHS’s Office of Intelligence and Analysis (I&A). They focused on the threat from homegrown violent extremists and domestic terrorists. The analysts there shared information with state and local law enforcement to help them protect their communities from these threats.
Let the record reflect that I am the first poster to discuss the oranges of the Mueller report Will cross post if I have to
Even moar winning!!! Farmers who couldn't sell soybeans due to trade war now find their stockpiles flooded — and uninsured https://t.co/Z4DHlGdCRo— Michael F Ozaki MD (@brontyman) April 2, 2019
Considering how much I hate golf, this qualifies as torture to me. If we were playing in FL, I'd probably jump into the jaws of a gator to end it.
Huh, I thought they had already done this, this was (I thought) announced by Bannon in the early days of the administration. Maybe it took that long to completely dismantle, maybe it happened elsewhere beside DHS first. Maybe they just de-emphasized RW or domestic surveillance back then to consolidate investigators in the less-concerning but more scary-to-the-base strictly islam-based terrorism. The GOP base is the root of most of the domestic terrorism after all. I'm sure they'll self-regulate without government interference.
