Everton on the other hand ... garbage. He is the guy who fuked up and didn't kill River Plate last year in the Libertadores SF.

Brazil remains unbeaten after the 2018 World Cup, although the win streak has been snapped by Panama (of all teams) and our clean sheet is likewise gone. Brazil has 7 wins and 1 draw with 16 goals scored and only 2 allowed, with both of them coming in the last two matches, and biased however I am, the Panamanian goal was offsides and the Czech goal came off a blooper and a clumsy play.

However annoying it was to see Brazil draw vs. Panama, hopefully Tite will draw some lessons from these two games. Allan cannot do what Arthur does, although Allan did have a few good passes today. David Neres will, as Celito said, be playing for Brazil this summer.

The roster for the Copa América will be announced on May 20 and I read somewhere that Brazil will train for 20-25 days.

Our first match is against Bolivia in Morumbi Stadium on June 14 (a Friday).

Yup. That balls goes in, River Plate would've been eliminated.

The best brazilian players were Neres, Gabriel Jesus, Arthur and Everton. The first half was horrible, Brazil played slowly,

I liked Everton. He was a significant improvement over Paqueta. Neres has skills. Some of the combinations in the second half, after Everton, Neres, and Arthur came on, brought back memories of old. A drab first half but a really enjoyable second half performance.

    Right. Whatever, man.
Look, I've been ragging on Gabriel Jesus because of his lack of quality play for over 2 years now. In fact, Gabriel had fallen off a cliff; he rarely played for City and we all know what happened at Russia 2018. Also, i hope Gabriel Jesus and Coutinho both move far away from their respective teams.
So in the face of a mini resurgence yesterday I was elated and happy for him and Brazil and felt a need to "apologize into the Ether", as it were.
Sorry to you if my words tweaked your gonads.

Dude, here you go again, this is just an online board... :ROFLMAO::D:p:laugh:

But as far as Gabriel Jesus is concerned, I do want him to return to top form. He was clutch for Brazil in the 2016 Olympics but did not even score in Russia. If he and Coutinho get back to playing what they can potentially display, Brazil will be even more of a team to be reckoned with.

Obviously he didn't mean it literally. Just a way to state he changed his mind.

Honestly, I don’t think we have a definite starting striker. Tite should just play whoever is on form at the fine between Richarlison, Firmino and Jesus.

Tite’s overly tactical lingo has become an “issue” with many. And even to some analysts, a cause of the recent bad performances. The 2nd half yesterday saved him from being fried IMO.

Although I agree Tite's conferences are way too tactical ... I really don't think he needs to be go that in depth ... it's not surprising to say many just say the opposite when things aren't going well. Before, we were too unorganized and needed to copy the tactical obedience of the Europeans, now we Tite is having the team play too tactical and he needs to let the players "play" the Brazilian way.

    Mano was right.

Gabriel Jesus problem has a name, it's called "Neymar".

2 WCs with Neymar and 2 WCs where our 9 struggled to score ...

Although in both situations, it wasn't a problem pre-WC. Jesus was scoring fine in WCQ. As I said, during the WC, it's not like Jesus was squandering scoring chances. He just got very few of them. Having said that I think a lot of people overrated him as well.

Like he said, the team becomes more Neymar-centric in the most critical (aka World Cup) matches.

:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: I do agree there wasn't much, but let's be honest with ourselves. He was poor.

Who overrated him? Palmeiras fans? :p

A lot of people in the media did after he scored early in the EPL. Saying he was going to be better than Aguero putting him on the bench and possibly being a future Balon d'Or player. I never bought into it.

He is very and he is young but I don’t think he is made in England. This league is too physical for him and I wish he realized that and he move to a different league and he will get his confidence back but if he is staying there. I don’t think he can move forward.

Is it wrong though ? This is just after Neymar gave an interview to that baba ovo Benjamin Back saying he is mature and what people say don’t affect him . He wasn’t talking about heckling ... but still , Neymar has weak self control and puts his teams in disadvantage when he does this . Not that the heckler didn’t deserve it. But that’s the life of an athlete .
