When I was picking up my tickets I asked my rep how I would be identified as a STH. I was asking just for the team store, I forgot they promised us concession discounts too. He said they were still figuring out how to accommodate people like me (but don't worry) and that they had just sent out info to "everybody else" on how to do it digitally. PS: There is now one more "permanent" sign - outside the box office there is now a lit-up metal sign that says TicketBastard They have added some plastic Audi stuff around the ground-level nearby. He said so far Audi has not complained that they have no real signage on the joint. A couple guys were putting up Audi banners on all the light poles outside the venue. I admired the slowness with which they did their work. I did manage to find some 2-hour free paring nearby on Q St.
It's 100% last minute. Just received this from ticketing: "The vouchers and identifier ticket will be loaded onto the D.C United app sometime prior to Sunday’s match. We are working on loading everything onto everyone’s account as we speak."
It cannot apply to the beer vendors selling from crates since they are cash only. Beer (etc) sales from concession stands should honor this discount as well, except for certain premium restaurants.
From my ticket rep via the phone just now. The gist: Vouchers will be first come, first serve, at a specific $$ value. (not flexible) Current thinking is only 500 total vouchers available per game. (so don't plan on using FAM as a standard way of buying food) I hope this in not the case when it actually happens. They had months to get this right, and this is nuts. It should be as simple as scan a code which deducts from your overall FAM! No vouchers, no $$ limits, nothing. Scan STM code, deduct from FAM account balance, enjoy my food.
$15 concession vouchers are now showing in the app. Can only order 1 per transaction, so I had to "check out" 4 times to get $60 worth (should be good for the 4 of us).
Here’s an outside the stadium view of what’s being done to help block the sun from the west at Audi Field. Sponsor banners are still up, but behind them are black panels. Tiny gaps between panels and holes should allow for air flow. #DCU pic.twitter.com/xaJQR6Ls4P— Uncle Steve (@streffsoccer) February 28, 2019
Well, I just got a $10 per game refund from Parking Panda/Spot Hero for the garage I bought my season parking in. That's pretty sweet, and keeps my parking price in line with last year.
As a reminder, that was supposed to be steel like the cube area features. Do I still get upset about the rain leaders? Yes. Details matter Look at the field level area always black in the plans. It's like they knew what they were doing on some level. Still no pocket parks.
Does the west side roof extend out further in this rendering than the actual roof? Sure looks like it to me. asitis
Cheapest team ticket available now is $39. Down from $49 near the beginning of the month. Cheapest I’ve seen is $34. With around 500 or so team seats still available, I can’t see how people are going to be moving extra inventory unless they get more aggressive in their pricing. Thx, Jay!
In one of the recent team emails it said 2 garages were discounted and would be credited; 55 M St and 80 M St. I'm still happier I'm not in a garage (except for this Sunday in the sleet/rain) - but I would like to get the email from Parking Panda I got this time last year that extended the pre-game parking by an hour - I'm still gonna show up then and argue with them if they won't let me in Again, except for this Sunday due to ugly weather
