The Chinese window is still open until the end of the month. We short on numbers but Sanchez adds nothing at all....

    That ref is a disgrace,

This is a fix. This has to be fixed. How do we end with ten men when Kimbempe should have seen it twice?

On the positive side of things, if we take a longer view of things, this might actually be a good thing.

    1. A good wake up call for everyone to temper things a bit. The squad clearly needs a lot of work still
    2. Being eliminated from the CL now allows us to really focus on top 4 (its in our hands) and start to reset a bit for next year - given where we were in December, this is by no means a bad thing.

Aside from Sanchez being so wank, and a complete waste of money, I'm not that upset.

For all the talk of PSG's missing players, our key players have either gone missing, gone off injured, or been sent off.

Disappointed. Mostly frustrated with this absolute shit ref. Even his face infuriates me. But we looked tired today. I don't know what the hell was happening with Martial. I've said it before, but he looks like the kind of player who lets external things in his personal life affect his play. Like he had an argument with his girl and it just lives in his head throughout the game. He looked really poor and unfocused today.

Also I had a chuckle when the commentator mentioned the quality in depth we had. I was like ok, yea Lukaku the real game changer, Sanchez the shite show, and ol' man Mata (even though I love him, he's getting slower). I thought both Matic and Herrera started really well, but things slipped as the game progressed.

We have some spending to do this summer. Personally, I wouldn't rule out OGS as a permanent choice. This entire month is a test, not just the PSG game. So let's see how that goes.

Matic was our weak link in midfield while Draxler made them tick.

First goal all Matic. Second goal Matic was caught off position when Bernat received the ball. Second leg will be tough.

    4-4-2 it is.

Going out now from the CL really will not be the worst thing. We can put all our focus on the league and top 4. And the FA Cup, if we beat Chelsea....
A lot depends on how long Martial and Lingard will be out though: that could be significant.

A win would have been nice, but I agree completely. This was a much needed wake up call. This team has another gear to go up, but needed to be brought back down to Earth.

I said it time and time again.

Getting the top four for Ole means he can sustain long run of good results.

Beating PSG meant he is able to tactically beat a superior team.

Getting in the semis of the FA cup meant he is able to play the squad game.

If we do not make it past PSG, I would still question Ole's tactical nous.

I can't comment on the players performance. We weren't allowed to play tonight. The referee protected them no matter what and sent off one of our players at the first chance he had.

Dismal. This is why I'm sick of Europe sometimes. The games have so obviously been fixed that it's ridiculous. Even the announcers were calling that the referee was abysmal. You hardly ever hear that anymore.

I agree on Matic he gave hope initially.. but Verrati made them tick and bossed the midfield but of course draxler was class and even DiMaria wirh his runs. We have 1 midfielder and probably only playee whi can beat a press thats Pogs. The tie is over maybe for good with pogs missing second leg.

We lost the match when we didn't make our running count in the first 30, and when Martial & Lingard pulled up.

This was make or break for Sanchez. Break it is then. The number of times he should have played a 1-2 and ended up taking the ball on, running wide and getting blocked... ******** me.

PSG will have to do one of their specials to go out now.

2-0 is a fair result tbf - we were poor.

The front 3 were poor first half (no excuse but fyi Martial was in paps for shagging a non-missus again at weekend).

The subs in Sanchez and Mata made us worse second half tbh.

Not fussed in that we werent going to win CL (not fussed about FAC either) but am interested to see how Ole deals with this. We actually need him to get some challenges and obstacles.

Our squad in dire need of full-backs, a RWF with pace and a free #7 shirt.
