I've actually really hoped for one of these guys who move to the lower leagues or like the Croatian league to really break out and become a KNT regular.

Dinamo Zagreb is a team with great history. Produced guys like Mandzukic, Kovacic, and Badelj. Also won the league last year and are consistently in European competitions. Really hope they break into the first team.

How do you think he'd slot into either FB or CDM?

That I'm not too sure, I've only seen him as CB. But like with all our defenders, they aren't good at defending counter attacks sadly.

Lol actually he doesn't play in Qum FC anymore, he was playing for it now he's with Alcobendas Sport which is a 4th division team.

I see a big problem with his height. Our CBs need really good aerial ability bc most teams in Asia try to break down our defense through long balls and early crosses. I don't know if a team like Zagreb would like a 183cm CB either. Maybe they will try using him in different positions?

yes I think so. It is mainly comprised of Korean players. With some capital, I reckon they can reach the 2nd division after a few years.

Well there are many 183 cm CBs in the world, as long as you can make up for it with skills.
Or maybe he can play inverted FB in the future.
There's also Tubize which is in Belgium as well.
I think some are some aren't

If Bento wants to play possession, I think inside fullbacks are definitely the way forward. It is the new tactic in football. We have the players which I believe can execute it very well (PJH, KYH).

Man I don't know because Bento is very conservative guy....
But I will say this though Kim Hyunwoo is probably the best CB in our U20 team but that doesn't even say much.

The thing is, I believe that Bento is using our fullbacks as wide pseudo-wingers in an attempt to spread out their dropped back defense and open gaps in the middle. However, HC and LY are not dangerous enough to warrant markers. Look at Pep's system. He plays two fast and dangerous players, Sane and Sterling, wider whilst tucking in the FBs to strengthen the core. I would REALLY like to see PJH player inside fullback whilst supporting the CDM on the left side whilst SHM returns to the left flank and cuts in from wide.

Yes I understand that but I don't think it's Bento's tactic you know? It's like asking opera singer to rap, just doesn't work.

That, my friend, was a great metaphor. Really makes sense now. You think that Bento will start veering away from the whole fullback tactic once we enter WCQs, or he'll be stubborn and stick with it?

probably going to stick with it against the Asian park-the-bus teams.
Anyways I don't want to hijack this thread by talking about Kim Hyunwoo, I think it's not fair for people that are actually interested in Kang Junehyung. We can talk about KHW in official koreans abroad thread or somewhere else ;)
