Gonda should not start after this tournament whatever our outcome will be.

I agree. The JFA should be banking on Schmidt in the near future for stability and calmness in front of the Japanese goal.

    Haraguchi work rate is commendable.

One has to wonder, why Queiroz never bothered to teach his players a very important aspect in football which is Calmness. Besides, playing defensively and having clean sheet is not something to brag about and it will bite you sooner or later..

One thing I noticed... Is it normal that the Japanese contingent is not more vocal than that in the stands? In the World Cup, they were very energetic with the non-stop singing.

Makino plays the two games and we get scored on in both of them.

Tomiyasu plays in four games and still hasn't conceded yet.

How does this clown keep getting called up?

Just noticed that due to Gonda's impending transfer to Portimonese, the entire starting 11 "plays" in Europe.

First time ever I think? Too lazy to check.

Extremely professional performance by the Samurai Blue. Kept their cool, managed the game well.

Were by far the better team.

    Deserved 3-0 win.
Very impressed. They came to play today.

Congratulations, well deserved win. Iran had a mental collapse in 2nd half.
