No way any of those rumors are true. Big European teams don't sign random Iraqi players off of a few good games at the asian cup. Ali Adnan was incredible at the 2013 U20 world cup and the best offer he got was Rizespor in Turkey because his agent has connections there.

Most likely destination for Muhannad is Qatar, but if he's smart and cares about his future instead of money, he'll try to work his way into Europe, even if he has to do trials, or join smaller leagues.

Its his agent Chris from Base soccer agency working to promote him. They have more of him than the Asian Cup performance.

In the unlikely scenario that he goes to Juve, they will loan him out for sure. Even if that doesn't happen, training with Ronaldo, Dybala, Douglas Costa, Mandzukic would be insane for his development.

Best offer for him so far is Cagliari. Serie A is a very good place for a young striker to learn the game. Extremely tactical league. Ali Adnan improved alot in that regard from going there.

If he doesn't move now, he may not get another chance like this. Al Shorta are very difficult to deal with. Dhurgham had to pay 350USD to Al Shorta so they would let him go to Rizespor.

I agree with you. I prefer Calgiari or one of the 2 Turkish clubs (Galatasaray or Fenerbahce) for a hear or 2.

Still I would prefer Galatsaray over any other offer. Check twitter Their fans are super hyped and want him badly and with fans like that he’ll be getting his starting minutes in no time.

Even Galatasaray Vice President followed me on Twitter. You gotta love them.

Al Shorta's management, like the uneducated, corrupt idiots that they are have decided they won't let him leave. Guess he isn't willing to bribe them enough.

One of the best players at the Asia Cup is signing for Juventus for 2m Euros and this is what the Italian papers said today. Where did you hear this?

The bribe that Dhurgham had to pay was because at that time Shorta's president was Riyadh Abdul-Abbas, a well-known corrupt man who illegally forced himself into the club and was removed months after that because his elections were invalid. Riyadh does not represent Shorta at all.

Shorta sent both Dhurgham and Sherko to Europe before. Sent other players like Marwan to Gulf countries. Even when Nashat was the club captain and key player they let him move to China. I can't see why they would stop Mohanad leaving if they got a good offer. Perhaps they're not happy with the offers and want to get the best deal, it's a deserved once in a lifetime opportunity for the club as well, not only the player. But we don't know all the facts.

I don't think clubs will have lost interest in him by the summer. Ali Adnan wasn't even playing for his Turkish club when Udinese came to sign him, that was a whole 2 years after the U20 World Cup. Inshallah he will be able to move in the summer if not now.

Tuttosport isn't a respected italian source. It's one of the worst sources in Italy, they make up all kinds of garbage news. His agent met with Juve, yes, but Al Shorta hold his contract, they decide if he goes or not.

Wasn't Sherko a free agent when he left for Europe? He was doing trials all over the place until he signed for Grasshopper.

Dhurgham, as you said bribed his way out. Nashat is a special case. Club legend at the end of his career and Bunyan was president at the time I believe. Of course he'd let his son in law go make some money in China.

Who is president of Al Shorta now? The main issue is that Al Shorta haven't even budged or attempted to negotiate anything. If they were just looking for the best offer, they would have responded to the offers and entered negotiations.

They let the Cagliari, Genk and FC Midtjylland offers expire without responding. All the work to get these offers has been through Mohanad's agents.

All the signs point to them being completely unwilling to let him go this month. I'm reading now that it could be because they have a deal in place with Al Ain in the summer. Would be a disaster for his career if he goes to the gulf.

Recently confirmed by Al Shorta management. Mohanad stays in Iraq until the summer, because the offers weren`t good enough.

These shroog are destroying everything good in Iraq.
