To make everyone’s day ... Big day for @ColumbusCrewSC along with new stadium plans...are we looking at the “next SKC” rebirth?! #MLS https://t.co/8IAqfyCPcG— Taylor Twellman (@TaylorTwellman) January 4, 2019
We are planning to do a destination wedding and get married in Hungary with just close family and friends. Spending way less, getting a week vacation out of it. Seems like a happy medium.
Taylor knows the checks from the league are bigger if the teams make more money. He is rooting for us to bring in the extra cash.
There are ways of doing a nice wedding reasonably. Of course it didn't hurt that Mrs KG's sister was dating (and later married) a guy who made champagne--professionally.
Interesting to note, there is no longer a message at the end of #CrewSC press releases telling me how to refer to the team. Guess I can now say “the Crew” again without concern of repercussions 😉— Patrick Murphy (@_Pat_Murphy) January 4, 2019
I planned mine during the 18 months of my engagement. In the oddest of turns, I loved every minute of it. Enjoy all the glow!
Took her to Hungary and Romania to have her meet my family. She fell in love with Budapest, and her grandfather was born in Budapest. Just seems right. Also, she is an event planner and probably sells, plans and executes around 30ish weddings a year. I think the whole giant wedding thing has lost its luster for her.
I'm actually pretty shocked about Alex Couch leaving. She was my season ticket rep and she was always really good. I haven't been contacted by anybody yet but I didn't expect to be because even though I signed the pledge to add 2 additional season tickets to my seats in 2019 she was able to add them in mid October. This to me isn't the action of somebody working against The Crew. Maybe she saw the writing on the wall and realized that she wouldn't have a job with the new owners. I look forward to getting a new rep as I have yet to be contacted, but I will patiently wait as I realize they are busy with all the new season ticket orders.
Hey look, MLS using Crew96 as well! The new man in charge of @ColumbusCrewSC. #Crew96 pic.twitter.com/eLXy4S0ktP— Major League Soccer (@MLS) January 4, 2019
This thread pleases me. We’re ready to welcome the future of the 🖤&💛! // #Crew96 pic.twitter.com/PqlIMB8xQ4— The Crew (@ColumbusCrew) January 4, 2019
I was freaked out for a moment by this. I'm right behind Kyle Crew and my irl initials are KC. Alex Couch was my ticket rep too. A little surprising but she was nothing special. I had to follow up with her in most cases rather than the other way around. Not a big loss.
I can assure you that she was looking to Austin from the get go. Also, I've been at mixers where she and staff would recount stories of playing voicemails from upset clients for the rest of the office and openly laughing at them. It was actually quite shocking for me to hear them talk about people's passion and love for the club with such disdain. #Crew96 was never anything more than a paycheck and a rung on the ladder for her. Don't be fooled by the smile and the eyes.
Sorry. In the past, you could buy the tickets in the Nordecke through the Front Office (via phone/online) or by purchasing directly through the Nordecke. Now it is 100% through the Front Office (either by phone or through the site)
I don't know why I even bothered trying to get work done today. Great news, all around, and I think it'll all finally feel real to me on 01-09-19.
