Can't remember that Scottish league was so great, Rangers and Celtic won titles, maybe Aberdeen...Yugoslav league was not that great, they produced much more national league players, clubs were average in UEFA competitions, few flashes made by Dinamo Zagreb, Crvena Zvezda, Partizan and Hajduk Split, but it wasn't made in every year, like Real Madrid, Bayern...
Based on the criteria that I made for the lists. I look at performances domestically and in Europe, of course taken into consideration domestic league strengths in different degrees. The evaluation criteria are explicitly set out below through the points system (mathematical rating system). Football League/Premier League 1st: 4.25 points 2nd: 3.5 3rd: 2.75 4th: 2 5th: 1.25 6th: 0.5 European Cup/UEFA Champions League 1st: 8 2nd: 6 SF: 4 QF: 2 R16: 1 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup/UEFA Cup/Europa League 1st: 1.5 2nd: 1.125 SF: 0.75 QF: 0.375 FA Cup 1st: 1 2nd: 0.5 SF: 0.25 Club World Cup 1st: 1.5 2nd: 1.125 SF: 0.75 2ndR: 0.375 Intercontinental Club Cup: 1.5 UEFA Super Cup: 1.125 Domestic Super Cup: 0.5 Manchester United FL/PL 1st: 20-times 2nd: 16 3rd: 6 4th: 8 5th: 3 6th: 3 Total: 179.25 points EC/CL 1st: 3 2nd: 2 SF: 7 QF: 6 R16: 6 Total: 82 points UEFA Cup Winners' Cup 1st: 1 2nd: - SF: 1 QF: 1 Total: 2.6 points UEFA Cup/Europa League 1st: 1 2nd: - SF: - QF: 1 Total: 1.8 points FA Cup 1st: 12 2nd: 8 SF: 8 Total: 18 points Club World Cup 1st: 1.5 GS: 0.375 Total: 1.8 points Intercontinental Club Cup Winners: 1 Total: 1.5 points UEFA Super Cup Winners: 1 Total: 1.1 points Domestic Super Cup Winners: 21 Total: 10.5 points Total points in all competitions: 298.75 points And all the rest with the same formula, this is what has resulted.
