He's an attorney with a blog dedicated to soccer related legal matters. He also covers the the USSF-NASL anti-trust suit extensively. It's frankly weird of you to attack Miki for his coverage.
The player combine starts in 10 days or so. Hey is that Caleb Porter over there? What’s he doing here?? This announcement allows the team to prepare for next season. I’m sure Haslam is running the front office at this point. The legal signatures are close but it’s done and we move on. Precourt’s statement is typical. “Elegant solution” is the same wording he used in the Austin Statesman article a few weeks ago. Clearly written by a PR firm and surly not by Precourt.
He's completely lost his mind and has developed such a narrative for himself that he can't credibly back out. He's got himself in a corner of bitterness.
I'll be leaving shortly, but I just want to thank my ex-wife's divorce attorney for the elegant solution he worked out. I realize now that trying to forcibly move the step-children (my wife's kids) to Texas against everyone's wishes was not in their best interest and I am very happy that my children have such a committed support system here in Ohio. Thanks for the hard work everyone!
It's on Twitter and Massive Report that they take operational control on the 1st and then can begin doing things. The finalization of the sale will be early January.
The ending scene from V for Vendetta where they're in the subway station and Evey is asked who V was.
Look, it’s simple, 4 hours ago or so, I was expecting an announcement that the ownership interest had in fact transferred over to the Haslam/Edwards group. If you say you were expecting otherwise based on comments internally to this board, and externally, then you’re lying. Miki’s Patreon said specifically, this was it going to happen. I posted a reference to that. Turns out, Miki was 100% right. And that disappointed me. Then a couple of notorious assholes jumped on it. You know who you are. Bottom line is that Tony Two Chins is still listed in charge. As is Greeley. And Loughnane. We are 63 days from our home opener and we can’t buy tickets (season or otherwise). So again, fundamentally, we are in no different position right now than we were yesterday.
That makes sense for a lot of reasons like payroll, W-2's, pink slips (there's a large thwopping sound at Mapfre), etc.
"Tremendous collaboration and community support." Garber can **MOD EDIT** this ** MOD EDIT** my **MOD EDIT** piece of no-good **MOD EDIT** big fat **MOD EDIT.**
Saw that they will operate on an interim basis come Jan. 1. But nothing official about tickets. Excited to see what they go with for ticket plan roll outs.
not much news today I see. no sheep league either. *Deep sigh* I guess i'll just have to be productive at work today.
I believe I saw on twitter that today is our very own Steve Sirk's wedding day. I think this news coming on this day is pretty phenomenal. Has a bit of destiny written into it.
